Here's a feature request I have myself:

I'm very used to writing in Slack and using emotes provided there, which are also standard characters used everywhere (e.g., in SMS, etc.).

We should support short-codes for emotes, so no longer just our custom little blue faces, but actual standard emoji characters via things like 👍 which would render a thumbs-up.

Any +1s on this feature request?

Come on @bobknight33, aren't you going to call this one fake?
Aren't you going to defend poor little Donny from that evil America hating liberal, Regan?
Aren't you going to claim everyone loves Trump and he hasn't lost a single voter?
Aren't you going to baselessly claim all these 'Republicans against Trump' groups are really Democrats....or foreigners...trying to get a strong president out of office?

You're slacking, the Boss isn't going to be happy you haven't defended his honor and you know what a vindictive and petulant child he can be.

And I thought teaching mine to close the door when they come in was good. Now I feel like I'm slacking hard with my dog training.

Archery: Will it EVER be the same again? Wow.

I was thinking the same thing, but he addresses that in the video. The defining feature of a crossbow is that the bowstring is mechanically held in tension. With this device, if the wielder relaxes his arm the string goes slack.

Having said that, it's similar to a chu-ko-nu (repeating "crossbow" that doesn't hold the string in tension) but more accurate because the moving parts move linearly.

Weirdly shaped crossbows are still crossbows.

Mueller Says Trump Wasn’t Exonerated

Mystic95Z says...

But all the Trumpanzee's & Trump still yell at the top of their lungs NO COLLUSION NO OBSTRUCTION.... Did no one hear in the hearing when that Republican Rep or Senator asked "Could the President be charged with obstruction after he leaves office" and Muller replied "Yes" (twice as the GOP guy repeated the question). We have a criminal in the WH and its time the slack jawed Republicans stand up to this POS POTUS...

Thanks Gentlemen,

So much text to read, my short attention span wasn't letting me absorb it all.

Thanks for the reset.

Briguy1960, the foxhole reference to FOX was unintended but maybe subliminally planted in my head. Not like me to make a pun unintentionally and then not see it.

Thanks for picking up the slack. LOL

Spinning Swing Challenge

I'm not 100%, but it looks to me like both handles are connected by a rope along the arms with some kind of stopper, so when one side releases, the other side gets enough slack to jerk the winner loose.

Tried to watch it closely, but couldn't figure out how they had it rigged to release the 2nd person once the 1st drops off. Impressive!

This movie has not aged well at all. It's got a few funny moments, but it really wasn't that prescient.

I fell for it too when I watched it first.

But people aren't turning into the kind of slack-jawed stoner idiots this movie portrays. Even "stupid" people are knowledgeable.

The problem isn't that "dumb people are reproducing too much", the problem is that we have access to a vast swathe of information and there's little in the way of critical thinking.

But this movie feels very much like "ha, look at all the dumb yokels". It just doesn't work.
