Drive Thru Skeleton Prank

artician says...

I usually hate these prank videos, but this one got me in stitches. That turn-and-look scare he makes the skeleton do was just perfect.

Queen Humiliates Obama During Toast

JustSaying says...

Well, get the pitchforks then! What are you waiting for?

Seriously, I'd rather be upset about the british government that does inacceptable things right now than an overpaid old lady who is only there for show. Unnecessary? Sure. Profiting from some very horrible history? Certainly. But which country is without skeletons in their closet? They all have bloodstains on their oh-so-white wests.
The only thing one should be mad about is the denial of those past crimes.

The Spider Who Couldn't Hide

MonkeySpank says...

ORLY?
I was talking about endoskeletons, I should have been more specific. Obviously, they have an exoskeleton like all arachnids and decapods. Spiders have a no way to push their limbs outward through muscle-skeleton action as they lack the equivalent of a triceps. But if it makes you happy to feel smarter... trolololo lololo lololo...

What on Earth are you talking about? If you're trolling, good job, ya got me.

Spiders have muscles, and a skeleton. Actually I kind of hope you're trolling... it would scare me to think people here are that uneducated.

What MonkeySpank said is actually partially correct. I think when someone refers to skeleton they usually are referring to an endoskeleton. Spiders do have exoskeletons, and they do have muscles, but as MonkeySpank said they also use a form of hydraulics to straighten their legs, and muscles to bend their legs (They lack extensor muscles). Amazing how fast their limbs are considering the fact that spiders move their limbs by controlling their blood pressure. Not having a skeleton of any kind is a bitch!

Man of Steel - Trailer 2

Sagemind says...

"Healing Factor – Superman is shown to possess remarkable recuperative powers that allow him to quickly heal from wounds and makes him immune to all forms of human or Earthly diseases, illnesses, viruses and toxins."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Powers_and_abilities_of_Superman

" Healing factor: Superman could regenerate physical damage to his body at an accelerated rate. He was able to regenerate when Wonder Woman slit his throat with her tiara in Wonder Woman #219. In the series Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Superman regenerates his body after being reduced to near a skeleton by a special nuke that was designed to blot out sun light and disrupt energy. Superman's healing rate has been inconsistently portrayed, however. In the first issue of the "Superman/Batman" comic, Alfred is able to remove a Kryptonite bullet from Superman's body without fear of the wound closing (probably because the Kryptonite was affecting his ability to heal). I'm sorry, what were you saying?
Something about getting your facts straight?

non_sequitur_per_se said:

Superman doesn't have accelerated healing, he has invulnerability to non-magical attacks.

Lol I love how you go on this big long rant, and half the stuff you say is just rubbish. At least get your facts straight before whining.

Why Are Thin People Not Fat (Full BBC Documentary)

Yogi says...

I recommend you put down the studies and use your brain. Humans who walk and or run everyday sometimes for dozens of miles don't weigh 300 pounds. They just don't I don't care what study you think proves that someone with giant mounds of fat attached to their skeleton lived back in a hunter gatherer society. It's JUST NOT FUCKING TRUE. You don't get 40% body fat from running and eating nuts.

>>I recommend reading this study comparing a hunter gatherer society's energy expenditure to western society.
Also look at this meta study regarding energy expenditure and activity level and its relation to obesity.

Major Banks Help Clients Hide Trillions in Tax Havens

bobknight33 says...

If Romney did not pay his taxes you can bet bottom dollar that the IRS would all up on him. He is not hiding anything. Its none of our business. The left just wants to get a hold of them to have field day lambasting Rommey. What about the house and senate? Why don't they show theirs? WE all know there is boatloads of corruption there. Surely this would shed some lite on the subject.

You can say all you want about Romney but there is no whores, Lewinsky, Marxists, Anarchists, or any other skeletons in his closet. All you have to his IRS to pick over.

Remember Timothy Geithner? When he was being selected The IRS issue bubbled up and he had to pay back taxes. If this was an issue it would have bubbled up back in the last election cycle.

Harry Reid lied. Once this settles there will be another whopper to distract true issue facing the election. Be fore this was his wife's horses.

What is facing America is JOBS. Who can deliver JOBS.

If you want to lose your job Vote Obama.
If you want to keep you job Vote Romney.

Conan O'Brien reviews "Minecraft"

Porksandwich says...

Fired up Minecraft last week after a long break. They've added a bunch of stuff to it. Jungle biomes, teleporting NPCs.

But the worst by far are still the hissers, I swear they spawn behind me. Frustrating as hell.

Although I did get knocked off a very high cliff by a skeleton and lost a bunch of my diamond stuff. I am not sure why dropped items by player death disappear faster than the rocks you mine and leave on the floor. Can come back hours later and pick up 100+ blocks. But the 10 minutes it took me to to find where I died and how to get back to it cost me a significant portion of my stuff.

I find it far too boring to play without the monsters though.
