What are they going to change to?
Super Republicans with spikey blond hair.
Obama, quick -- into the Hyperbolic Time Chamber!

I do seriously wonder why the Democrats don't attack the Republicans on their foreign policy record.
They do, time and time again.
Problem is, the media is moving the messaging in this campaign, and as you've seen on the O'Reilly clips, these pundits box them in to defending people like Ayers, Wright, etc. And gloss over any issue oriented messaging.
If the media propogated the Dem's message as much as they spew the GOP's talking points, you'd see a much different race.
But, Drudge rules the media's world.

Because this election isn't about issues. It's about character. John McCain is a maverick and a war hero, and Sarah Palin is a hockey mom out for change.
What the Democrats need to do if they want to win this is have Barack Obama parachute out of a plane into a Ford monster truck, which he will drive over two cars and a moose. After drifting into a parallel parking space between a John Deere and a Caterpillar, Joe Biden will jump out of the passenger seat and grill up the now dead moose on the huge grill occupying the entirety of the truck's flatbed. Mooseburgers will be given to all of the hysteric onlookers and the truck will be donated to an eleven year old boy to make way for the next generation of Americans.

Blitzer Cranked - "Howard Stern'd"
In the first hour of Wednesday's 8-23 Situation Room, CNN apparentlythought it had a phoner with Wendy Hutchens, a woman "who claims that five years ago she had detailed chats about the death of JonBenet Ramsey" with John Mark Karr.
"...he was instructed to kill JonBenet by Howard Stern"
The caller was a "notorious prank caller" named Thomas Cipriano. He says: "I've been doing this for 20 years! You'd think they'd be on to me by now..."

The clip is much longer than necessary, but the exchange with the "crack" [sic] caller is at the beginning.
On a personal note, I watched the entire clip because I rarely am exposed to CNN and always find it visually fascinating. The graphics get more sophisticated, ...and it's slightly distracting to those unaccustomed to it. There is never a moment without considerable motion on the screen, even when the talking head is just taking. It's a way of helping the short attention-spanners keep their eyes on the tube. (Charlie Rose, with conversants sitting at a table, the background a uniform black void, is the antithesis of the ever-waving background of CNN; with Rose, you're on your own to supply the attention and brain activity to maintain focus on the conversation. my $.02
