Meh, as a channel owner I reserve the right to expand my channel's scope as needed.
Which I documented in that thread, ironically.

Enh, it's still not really Canadian content, even with brief footage of our proudest robotic limb.
Besides, channel assignments seem to be kind of a hot-button issue these days if you look at the latest Siftquisition -- last thing I want is to have my name mentioned in connection with that level of drama just because of a lame joke on my part

Why you'd take it out of the channel?

Astronaut loses toolbag in space OOPS!
^ Yeah, but to get back into the spacestation, suit-up with the EVA, and then deploy, would take far too long.
Also, the robotic arm takes far too long to deploy as well, so in either case the bag was just too far away too soon.
Astronaut loses toolbag in space OOPS!
If it were something super important they would have managed to retrieve it. They can try to reach it with the robotic arm. I don't know if they have the equipment for untethered space walks. But what they did have, if it were a matter of life or death, was a space shuttle to go fetch it. Or maybe they could just change the station velocity by .2 m/s towards the bag until the robotic arm can grab it.
Robot Arm loves Air Hockey
It's gotta be canada. They made the robotic arm for the international spacestation. Obviously they've cornered the market on robot arms.
Forget Binary Clocks. Heres One For the Ultra-Geeky
By the time that robotic arm gets done putting the new time down, it'll be time to change it again. lol
Yay for exploding cars!
they use a small robotic Arm toy, its in the goarmy ads. basically the idea to blow up a bomb, is use C4 to blow it up. makes no sense but at least it works.

Video enhancements from digital photos
Impressive.
"Many effects shown in this paper are commonly created by folks in the visual effects industry using software packages such as Shake, BouJou, and AfterEffects. While the degree of automation in these packages has grown considerably in the past decade, they still rely heavily on manual effort (e.g., matting, rotoscoping, etc.) and specialized capture equipment (e.g., blue screen filming, steady cams, use of robotic arms to capture precise video paths, etc.); all are highly unappealing solutions to the amateur user."
Though similarly unappealing is prohibitively expensive software for the "amateur user." You undoubtable have more of a pulse on the industry that I. Do you suspect that we will be seeing significant cost reductions in this industry anytime soon? Sadly, even entry level video editing software of any decent quality has yet to manifest in the open source realm.

Would have preferred to see one of them irate and swearing enormously about "texture tearing" around the robots arm holes, having worked on it for an entire F*@& week already, F&@& the robot and F^@^ Collins. And WTF do you mean "we get paid for doing this?" They are paying you?
