Skokomish River salmon cross the road
The riddle appeared in an 1847 edition of The Knickerbocker, a New York City monthly magazine:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Why_did_the_chicken_cross_the_road%3F
After 173 years of this joke being handed down from generation to generation it has become the standard kickstarter joke to give life to a sense of humor. So much so that the first thought about any animal crossing the road would or should trigger the chicken punchline.
Regardless of wanting points or not you would have gotten them anyway so the VS community would know my words have much iron.

Yes, I think I pointed that out. Nice work. 😜
No, those aren't chickens....not even chickens of the sea, so that's not an obvious question.
I told you I didn't want points, so wouldn't ask the obvious question....it's THE answer.
I implanted the question in a random sifter's brain without their knowledge. Come on.

Sounds like you picked the wrong game to play. Your passport has always been worthless.
Last thing I remember
I was running for the door
I had to find the passage back
To the place I was before
"Relax", said the night man

Welcome to the end game, motherfuckers, and the worst part is that I have to live it with you because an American passport is totally worthless now.
Four Sisters And A Brother Riddle
No, no no... this is like the Doctor's husband riddle. Nobody said this was a traditional family? What if the daughters are adopted? What if they're from each from previous marriages? The answer is between 6 and 10.

From the original creators of Fallout - The Outer Worlds
I played it at release, didn't notice any major issues. Never been stuck in a rock and I don't remember a single freeze or CTD like those mentioned in that article. Unlike Witcher 3 which was praised at release but was full of progression stopping bugs.
People also said KCD was riddled with bugs, I have over 500hrs in it since launch and haven't seen anything beyond minor glitches.

New Vegas was riddled with bugs on release, what are you talking about?
Just Google "New Vegas Bugs" and you'll find gems like this...

and helpful guides like...

Hope the gameplay is rock solid because the graphics are pretty terrible. Lighting and shadows in particular.
I don't remember NV or Stick of Truth being shoddy or full of bugs.
Inside the mind of white America
I'd have to beg to differ on America having similar Aboriginal/White conflict. IMO the divide between aboriginal/white in Canada is actually much deeper, and with a greater potential for future violence than even black/white relations in the US. The conditions on Canadian native reserves are MUCH worse than in the US. It's severe enough that the first time a Canadian is driving past an America aboriginal reserve they have to ask twice to confirm it really is one. The general state of broken down infrastructure, housing and in general is so bad it's even visibly unavoidable up here in Canada. In the US you can't tell you've gone past anything different unless something culturally relevant is posted up.
It's also made worse by systematic segregation that the reserve system in Canada creates so any seed of racism has lots of fertile ground and lacks any reference to counter balance it.
When a car is stolen is something goes missing on farms near a reserve the immediate default assumption is that someone 'aboriginal' took it. It's only made worse when more often than the statistical distribution should dictate, it actually was someone from a reserve that did it. Recently a car of young aboriginal kids pulled into a farmers yard and one of them was shot and killed. They said they had a flat and were just looking for help. The case is on going, but the courts have heard that the neighbour had already put a call in to police about a theft minutes before the shooting though. Of course, white folks on the internet made such helpful comments as suggesting the farmers mistake was 'leaving any witnesses'. It's also not just white racism against natives though, the racism against settlers(whites) amongst aboriginal populations can be just as ugly and rampant. When Canada decided to have our border crossing guards carry guns, we had to close a border crossing that was in a Mohawk reserve because they wouldn't allow it. The border station there was already riddled with bullet holes before this. If the government DID try and enforce the same law there as the rest of the border, people were going to die.
That's not a real difference. We have all that too, on top of the black/white, Mexican/white, Arab/white, non-white/white issues.
The main difference we have is reservations here have their own tribal courts instead of special treatment in normal courts. An alleged side effect of that is a white person can go to a reservation and attack a native, and never be charged because they can't get a fair trial in tribal courts and normal courts won't take a minor case from the reservation (I've never tried it myself).
4 Revolutionary Riddles Resolved!
That was fascinating. #2, the track riddle, is a mind fuck for me. I can't grasp it, and I'm usually pretty good at maths and stuff.

Ryan Gosling's mother poses Colbert a Tolkien teaser
Your honour, there is precedent: I cite Baggins Vs Golum in case 'riddles in the dark'. The question was good and well-timed, leaving the comedian the butt of the joke. Colbert may be undefeated, but this ruling must go against him.
Objection! The question is immaterial to the nature of Colbert's canon knowledge of the Tolkien universe.
Hiphop meets 'Children of Men'
In a world where the world ends at the end of your block
And them uh, little whirlwinds spin friction round the clock
I'll be savage, hunt and gather the average rather cadaver
Cock back hammer, splatter matter all over cell phone and calendar
No peace, yeah, in the middle of a war zone, riddle when the norm thinks slow
No sleep, yeah, with the shades down low, on the down low fighting with a dream
I creep, yeah, all secrets please, I don't need to speak
I'm paranoid like a man in the land of the free
To set up and let us burn and turn cheek, damn
Stop with the octagon, top your block, I'm gone
Off my rock, no songs, no more locked, yeah
Just a little bit a prison for everyone of us
We won't listen till there isn't any more of us
These days we quick to part ways with rights like "okay"
Here, let's be clear, for the record I did not sign up for lockdown
Or any kind of shock and I'm so bored
You must have forgot just who you were dealing with
Nothing less than aggression so naked, so crystal clear with a
Trust in absolutely fucking nothing but Doomtree
Step up your thought game lame, we're all thirsty!
It's like they leave us no option
Walking these streets, heat is watching
These preachers speak from their pockets
These teachers...bring it back c'mon
These teachers reach but can't stop it
Seedlings so poisoned, so lost and
Follow these prophets to nonsense
Tossing what's right to the dust
And I ain't no casualty
Got no surface with spotless morality
My dirt might have to cover up my grave
But I keep my fear of faith
And filth clutter up my cave
Got me looking for disinfectant
(I don't know how to behave)
God, I'm bored!
You must have forgot just who you were dealing with
Nothing less than aggression so naked, so crystal clear with a
Trust in absolutely fucking nothing but Doomtree
Step up your thought game lames, we're all thirsty!
Mooooooooore!...
So thirsty for mooooooooore!...

a celebration of stand-up comedies best offensive jokes
and what angle would that be?
YOU said mike ward was "rightly sued" for basically calling a kid ugly, and i asked for you to explain how this is a legal matter.
or is it your contention that because mike ward "punched down" instead of "punching up" IS the legal precedent?
what if he spoke on how ugly patton oswald is?
or ridiculed michael j fox's parkinsons?
would THAT be acceptable?
or would that be acceptable, but just in poor taste?
and you still haven't addressed how this young boys reputation has been ruined.from what i have been reading it was not his reputation, but how mike wards joke had become semi-popular and the kids in his school started busting this young boys balls to a degree where school was becoming an anxiety riddled event for the young man.
why aren't his school mates also being fined?
i mean,if we are going to bring in the state to handle every and all social issues..let us at least be fair.
and what about the people in the audiences that found the joke funny?
aren't they contributing to the continuation of this young mans suffering in school?
see,i think you are viewing this as a bullying situation (my assumption),and you are viewing this young man as a victim.a victim to bad jokes done in poor taste, and maybe you are correct, but jokes are subjective..NOT objective..and there is no tangible evidence that this young mans reputation has been affected.
it is the INTENT of the joke that should be scrutinized, and that is something that is also subjective and an issue we all deal with on an individual basis.the legal system should NEVER be used to decide such arbitrary and subjective material, because now you setting precedent and punishment based on "feelings",and this tactic can be easily abused.
so you may "feel" mike wards jokes are offensive and damaging, and that in your country mike ward should be executed for his crimes (fascist much?).
but remember...that pandoras box door swings BOTH ways, and the abuse can come from a direction that you,and i for that matter, would be appalled in its application.
and to even suggest that this is not a free speech issue is incredibly naive'.
if you think being charged in a civil case, and having to show in court multiple times to defend "joke" with the possibility of even MORE financial hardship, will not affect how a comedian approaches his routine and the jokes he writes, you are simply NOT thinking this whole situation through and the unintended consequences of situations such as these.
this is most certainly a free speech issue.
let me give you a hypothetical, but using the same parameters.
the wesboro baptist church goes to protest an abortion clinic, and are met with counter protesters.
the counter protesters begin to chastise and berate the westboro people.ridicule their stance on abortion and their religion.so much so that one of the younger westboro children becomes distraught, and anxious and begins to cry.someone films the exchange and posts to youtube, and it goes viral.
now the young westboro kid is being harassed in school, being picked on and being called names.the young kid is so vexed and humiliated that he avoids school at every step and is having self esteem issues.
so much so that the westboro church decides to sue the counter protesters in court.
what do you think the outcome should be?
should they even be allowed to sue?
and if so,should the young westboro kid receive damages?
or should those counter protesters receive the death penalty in your country?
do you see what i am saying?
you getting what i am laying down?
because free speech means that you are free to express yourself, but you are NOT free from offense, and offense is subjective.what offends YOU might not offend ME,and vice versa.
free speech means you are free to express every little thought that pops into your pretty little head and share with the world, and i am free to ridicule you relentlessly if i so choose.
and i will.
with gusto.
I think you're coming at it from the wrong angle.
Why should this comedian feel like he needs to take the low hanging fruit of making fun of a disabled boy?
He doesn't. He shouldn't.
Everything he cops after that is fair game.
He's lucky he didn't get the death penalty for making fun of a disabled boy, because that's the minimum sentence in my country.
