Not to resurrect an extremely old thread, but I happened to stumble upon this old clip, and after having read some of the comments, felt compelled to say this about Hell: that it basically invalidates its own existence insofar as 'nothingness' can be a place.

First, we recall that the Bible makes numerous references to God being omnipresent and omnibenevolent.
Second, as discussed above, we see that Christian dogma says Hell is the absence of God (and His love, since for all intents and purposes they're the same thing, being all-good and everywhere).
So, that means that Hell is a place where God isn't, and God is in every possible place simultaneously, the old throwbacks to pantheism. Therefore, Hell is nothingness.

As an atheist, I think that when I die, my consciousness goes into 'nothingness' anyway- so there's essentially no difference for me in dying and going to Hell and dying in a universe without God.

When the democrat party decides to remove GOD from its platform then yes it is an attack.

Christianity is being removed from nearly every venue. How is that not an attack?

I don't care what religion other people are. When you religion deems it fit to kill ALL others what are not your religion then yes I draw a line there. Muslims is such a religion. However thankfully they are like every other religion in that only 20 % are ALL IN for their religion. The other 80% are Sunday only types.



Is the Bible true? You have to ask yourself 1 question. Did he rise?

While many will die for what they believe to be the truth, few if any will die for what they know to be a lie.

You know that although the disciples followed Jesus they all fled at his capturing for fear that they too would be put to death. After Jesus " rose from the dead" he walk on the earth 40 days.

One thing is for sure All the disciples fear of being associated with Jesus went away and was replace by an even firmer belief that he is the son of GOD.

The disciples of Christ did not die for deeply held beliefs about which they could have been honestly mistaken. They died for their claims to have seen Jesus alive and well after His resurrection.

So ask yourself, Did he rise?

I turned my head away from the development of this game; there are too many ways for it to disappoint - some of the combat mechanics sound worryingly 4e D&D to me - but here I find that it's been released and is...good...pretty...has pathfinding issues?
