Jon Stewart Calls BS on Trump | TDS

ReverendTed says...

As someone who was a straight-ticket Republican voter from the time I was old enough to vote until 2016, nothing has done more to drive me to vote Democrat more than Donald Trump and the Republican acceptance and defense of that deranged narcissist. That there are still tens of millions of people who are willing to vote for him is absolutely baffling to me.
That there is still a real potential that he could be elected to a second term is positively terrifying, both in terms of what damage could be done, but for what it says about our populace.

BEETLEJUICE BEETLEJUICE | Official Teaser Trailer

Um…long awaited sequel? Who was actually waiting for this?
There’s potential here, but I fear it’s another memberberry cash grab, washing every last cent possible out of everything that was good from my childhood leaving empty husks that once were fond memories. Fingers crossed I’m wrong.

Fallout - Official Trailer

A cat, trying to drink water from a kettle

BSR says...

I thought the same thing but remembered water seeks its own level

“Water seeks its own level” is an expression referring to the fact that if water is free to move than all surfaces exposed to the atmosphere will be at the same height. That is the lowest energy state; potential energy is released when water at a higher point flows down into the depression

If only the lid were sealed his blowing through the spout would have pushed the water up the spout where he could drink. HALP HIM HOOMAN!

Hotwheels | Empty Waterslide

They need weights in the cars so they weigh as much as the camera car. It’s starting with way more potential energy, so it’s no surprise it passes almost every car every time. Weighted noses would help stop spin outs too.

I’m always impressed with the image quality from a camera that can fit on a match box car without making it flop right over.

She was point out crimes of Hunter.
The data show from his own laptop .

The laptop is real and the FBI knew it. This information would had sunk Sleepy Joe from winning.

"During a transcribed interview with the House Judiciary Committee, an FBI official revealed that at least one senior agent, along with potentially others, who had alerted social media companies about a potential “hack and dump” operation before the 2020 election, were aware of the authenticity of Hunter Biden’s laptop.

As the House Judiciary Committee’s official Twitter account noted, “Testimony reveals the FBI knew the Hunter Biden laptop was authentic, but when asked by a social media company about the laptop’s authenticity the FBI said ‘no further comment’.”

The FBI official, Laura Dehmlow, participated in discussions between the FBI and Facebook prior to the social media platform’s decision to censor the story related to Hunter Biden’s laptop before the 2020 election. Furthermore, The Intercept has indicated that Dehmlow was also involved in the Biden administration’s endeavors to suppress and censor content on social media platforms in relation to misinformation."

Man Rips Up His Cash Over Seat Belt Ticket

surfingyt says...

While smart to wear one I also agree it shouldn't be a law. It's the same as helmet laws which vary from state to state proving that it's not really a public safety issue so much as a reason for the cops to have (yet another) tool in their toolbox to collect additional revenue and potentially escalate the crime.

Seat belts will better help keep you in control of your vehicle after a collision. If your car rolls over or you go sideways into a tree it helps keep you from back, head and neck injuries which could leave you with pain and mobility issues long after the crash. I also see it as being very selfish to your family and loved ones who potentially may have to care for you if you survive, in which case you will be very annoyed and annoying.

It should be mandated by government because some people think they are the best drivers ever.

Does any of your family members drive the disabled alarm car?

Forcing adults to wear them does nothing for public safety, it's a personal safety issue which shouldn't be mandated by the government.

Black High School Student Pair Solve IMPOSSIBLE Ancient Math

Thanks for that. I was looking for a while and saw nothing. I'm no mathematician, but that's a lovely proof. I really hope it doesn't have some sneaky divide by [potential] zero as so many of these simple proofs do. Whatever the outcome, these two deserve some serious kudos.

visionep said:

If you are into the math, here's a good explanation of what the proof probably looks like. The news people are wrong in some of what they say just because they aren't specific. But these kids did a good job figuring this out.

Trump Media and Technology Group as of late last year has been under investigation for potentially being involved in a Russian money laundering scheme.
Toth Senchal was hemorrhaging money, and had a year wait before their planned (now cancelled) merger, so Trump went begging to Russia.
2 Caribbean banks owned in large part by a Putin ally and Russian oligarch loaned Toth Senchal $8 million…the company’s CFO warned at the time this was Russian money coming from sanctioned Russians and should be returned but they couldn’t afford to give it back so they fired the CFO instead…he’s talking.
This IS a CRIMINAL investigation, with DJT and little Jr both listed as CEO, both signed off on these loans from Putin. Just one more criminal case involving MAGA selling influence to Russia.

Bonus- Georgia criminal grand jury interviews sound disastrous for Trump.
“A lot’s going to come out sooner or later and it’s going to be massive. It’s gonna be massive.”
“If every person in America knew every word of the information we knew, this country would not be divided as it is right now.”
“I became more jaded about American politics when it became clear some witnesses would say one thing about the election under oath then casting doubt on the system when they returned to the campaign trail sometimes hours later.”
Not what you want to hear as a defendant in America’s most massive election fraud ever, the big lie.

What composting a human body could look like

What composting a human body could look like

eric3579 says...

Sure It sounds fine, but at what price would you pay (money your family won't get) to have this done? If it cost more than direct cremation, would you do it?
Direct cremation at the cheapest $1000-2000 from what i can tell. My googling showed a cost of between $3000-7000 for this service. Personally i think any money spent on getting rid of my body, is wasted money. Put me in a dumpster and take me to the landfill. Also i don't have family that get all weird about death and funerals, etc. so that potential feel good benefit for the living would not be a thing

I'm guessing there is a nice profit to be made for companies that provide such a service, and probably enough people who would feel better having the deceased in their life done away with in this way. If you have the bank and it makes someone feel better than it seems reasonable. Personally i want none of it.

newtboy said:

I would totally choose this over the alternatives….although I prefer the composting “coffins” that are impregnated with microbes and fungi to decompose the body faster, and no bone grinding.

With all the ways humans take from their environment, I like the idea of giving back just a little. My body feeding a tree is a much better disposal than pumping it full of toxic preservatives so it can take decades to rot and be toxic for the soil or wasting tons of natural gas to cremate it, again wasting any nutrients it may hold.

The only drawback is I can’t do that AND have a Viking funeral.

Hellraiser - Trailer

It's got potential. I like Pinhead's general ambiguity in particular.

The only thing that gets me is getting the cenobites' attention by just finishing the last few moves of the box. I always liked Pinhead's line that "It is not hands that summon us, it is desire".
