The sad part is how convoluted this all is. There are no less than 5 government bubbles this falls under. All with their own set of rules and regs, and punishments and liabilities. Something similar happed to me when i was a kid, but in contrast to this kid i used the raw power of my legs and stood up so i could climb over.
O, did i say raw power of my legs, i meant movement of the jelly like noodle substance my legs where then.

This kid reminds me of those people that can fall face first from a two story building into a pile of discarded metal scrap, survive, spend four months in hospital and not learn the lesson that taking a stage dive from the second floor into a pile of pointy hard things is bad.

Forget your dependance on forigen oil, Americans need to sever their depedance on fear. The whole country is paralyzed with terror that someone, somewhere, is amassing the tools that will dismantle their machinery of global ecomomic and military dominance. Even liberals have the fear. Christopher Hitchens (even though he isn't American kinda) believes Saddam Hussein held our lives in the pointy bit of his index finger*.

I don't think the world has much to lose if america hands over it's control to china or whoever. Democracy or communism doesn't change a thing if people are still controlled by fear

The thing is... these people are simpletons. Plain and simple, they are dumb. That's what it all comes down to. They are completely UNABLE to fathom how if they have some particular faith in a particular creator or prophet that it SHOULD NOT MATTER what other people say about said creator or prophet. That they can get homicidally worked up over someone showing a picture of their precious Mohammad just speaks to their isane inability to be at peace with what they believe.

If the only way they can be at peace with what they believe is to kill all who apposes their view then it's a VERY, VERY weak personal belief.

I am happy for people to believe that there was a Jesus or an Allah (although I wish they'd actually look into it rather than take ONE fricken book's word on the matter)... but FUCK them sideways with a large, pointy and rusty pitchfork if they want to impose their view on me and other in a violent way... Hey relax, have patience, nothing wrong with being a second class citizen, its just the natural order of things. Think back over the last two thousand years. Christians were second class citizens for a while and look what happened to them! Sure they had to go through the whole "feed them to the lions" era, but they got over that and reigned supreme. The same will happen to the atheism movement, I just hope the lions part is a metaphor for something else, I'm allergic to cats, especially the big ones with pointy teeth and sharp claws...

Well it depends on your definition of worse. To be honest I think actual pranks and the such are far LESS worse than things like this. My older siblings during one little stint lead me to be impaled through the top of a pointy ornament that went right through the side of my body, later finding out it barely missed vital organs, we slapped two band-aids on each side and that was it until my parents got home and went hysteric over my bloody bedsheets. This now is nothing but a funny and loved story to tell around the dinner table. Don't even get me started on the time they put dirt over my clothes and face, getting me to beg for money so we could buy candy, only to be seconds away from being taken away/kidnapped by some man who said he was going to help me, also now just funny.

But would you really ever laugh about the time your older brother that you clearly respected, completely disregarded your trust? I don't know, maybe I'm overstating it but to me there's normal sibling behaviour we all go through, then there's just being a dick.
