I think rasch and I have the same taste in literature.

At the moment I am reading a book called "Brodeck" by Phillipe Claudel, the writer/director of "I've loved you so long." Its about this stranger who arrives in this town after a holocaust-like event, and starts drawing pictures of the villagers. They don't like the way he draws them, so they butcher him. That's where the book starts. Pretty interesting read so far.

I want to read a book that was very recently apparently translated into english. The book is "desert" by the french-Mauritanian recent nobel-prize winner JMG Le Clezio. Supposed to be fucking brilliant book.

The organization has chapters in 22 of the 50 states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Virginia, and Wisconsin.

Americans for Prosperity is led by Tim Phillips, who was a former partner with Ralph Reed's Century Strategies. That organization became well-known when it was revealed in a Senate investigation that convicted lobbyist Jack Abramoff was laundering money through Century Strategies and Americans for Tax Reform to oppose legislation that his Indian tribe clients wanted to defeat.

It's funny, I've been on a sci-fi kick lately myself. Bought and watched Blade Runner again, then read Phillip K. Dick's "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?", now I'm reading Dick's "The Man in the High Castle". Really looking forward to this film.

Pirates have vowed revenge for the deaths of three colleagues at the hands of U.S. snipers rescuing Capt. Richard Phillips, as well as for two others slain by French forces in a separate rescue last week.

"Our latest hijackings were meant to show that no one can deter us from protecting our waters from the enemy because we believe in dying for our land," Omar Dahir Idle, a pirate based in the coastal town of Harardhere, told The Associated Press by telephone.
