I Don't Wanna Sound Racist But... (PA McCain/Palin Rally)

reminds me of the 5 minutes of hate from Orson Well's 1984

Wow, good analogy. Though I'd like to see a video showing crazy people on both sides of the political fence, just to keep things balanced. Liberals can be just as crazy as these hate-filled people.

It's sad to think one of the few qualities that separates humans from animals is the ability to hate.

Strange that most of these type of videos come from the east side of the US. Are easterners more politically...um...enthusiastic?

Clint Eastwood is a fantastic Director and while he made the greatest western of all time he does not have a prolific number of hits.

Orson Welles best film: Touch of Evil or Citizen Kane? discuss:

Like most film buffs, no question I recognize the genius and influence of Citizen Kane, but in more recent years I just keep watching Touch of Evil over and over again. Welles' characterization is a riveting personification of evil and moral and personal corruption- ranks up there with Javier Bardem's Chigurh and Day Lewis' Plainview. And that opening shot? Fugeddaboudit.

Calvados, I have to agree with you that the movie is chowderheaded. Any movie with Dane Cook in it virtually guarantees that, regardless of how small a role he has. If Citizen Kane had even included one frame with Dane Cook in it (if it were somehow possible to put Dane Cook in a time machine and then into a frame when they were editing it), then it would be one of the worst movies of all time and have destroyed Orson Welles' career. However I liked this particular scene because it's not just funny, but also true.

And let's put Dane Cook in a time machine anyway. Then blow it up.
