Nirvana vs Rick Astley: Never Gonna Give Your Teen Spirit Up
>> ^JAPR:
The vocals from Astley aren't on the same root note as the guitar line, so it sounds like shit to me. I don't like it.
Amen, sir.

Awesome. This is actually the second mash up I've seen on the sift that is surprisingly awesome.
The other is Closer (NIN) and Come together (Beatles) and is located here:

loser-Together
Dude EVERY SONG EVER MADE can be mashed together with Closer, it's like bacon.

Nirvana vs Rick Astley: Never Gonna Give Your Teen Spirit Up
>> ^Payback:
I don't think there's a person on this planet who can say, with certainty, that these aren't the lyrics Cobain is singing.
Actually, I've never had much of a problem understanding the lyrics to Smells Like Teen Spirit. A few bits here and there were tough to make out, but the single for Lithium helpfully came with a sheet listing the fully lyrics to the whole Nevermind album - should have been included with the album originally I suppose, but I don't think they expected anyone to care (ie, they had no idea it would blow up like it did).
"Tourette's" on the other hand is completely unintelligible. That could very well be a cover of Mr Astley's masterpiece.
Thanks for all the votes btw - I never expected this to hit the top 15. People's tastes here continuously surprise me.

Not a fan of Nirvana, so this is a vast improvement. The tonality is a little off in places, but then Nirvana was never known for harmony. It is interesting to see how well they fit together, though.

That was scary. I almost hated to upvote it. Now I feel dirty.

This will either make you laugh, or give you nightmares. Either way, I thought you should know.

Yes kind of like the mashup between a baby hedgehog and a car tyre

We all could have. Still, it's amazing how well they mash together. In a disturbing way.

I told disco_man about this already, and I thought you might be equally amused and/or disturbed by it too.
