ugh hate this guy, even Dr. Neil DeGrasse Tyson don't give much creedence to global warming scare. And he has already shown that if global warming did occur it would cause a new ice age cause if the polar ice caps melted enough the fresh water would change the gulf stream and could cause a global cooling as the Earth auto corrected as it always has.

They used that premise to the extreme in that stupid movie 'day after tomorrow'. But there has been mass global warmings on larger scale than anything humans could do in a million years before like what killed the Dinosaurs caused massive warming which resulted in a major ice age.

I'd rather believe Michio Kaku, Neil Tyson, Stephen Hawking, than some political bias television shows.

Off topic I do wish someone would nuke American media fox, msnbc, cnn, current, and the "left/right" various talk show crap.

I might be heading back to school for nuclear physics, hope you all are dreaming big too. When I was a kid, the dream I was sold was get rich and try and retire as fast as you can. Now, I have a new dream, to work till I die, fingers to the bone on what I love. If we start today preparing the way for richness of life, and not prosperity, like Neil pointed out, you great a greater deal of both. You can't legislate it, you have to spark it. Neil Tyson and Kirk Sorensen (both NASA boys) have done that for me, and given me a dream of the future I want to help create.

How is this out of context? He isn't talking privately with a few people at a dinner party, he's addressing a group as a public figure and while he's saying this slightly tongue in cheek, it is VERY much in context. He feels forcing people to believe something at gunpoint it is "funny."

For example, if I was to "joke" that Christians should be rounded up into camps and forced to listen to Neil Tyson Degrass at gunpoint until the stupid left their little brains, do you think Mike Huckabee would find it funny?

No I don't think they're crazy, what I think is that the Truthers have not provided verifiable or demonstrable evidence to back up their claims. Of those 1300 engineers and architects how many have done an experiment or produced a model or even theoretically tested a hypothesis about Building 7s collapse. It's not that we're just saying "Shut up and believe the government" it's that we're being like Dr. Neil Tyson...we need more than just "I SAW IT!"

Give us something we can test in a lab...bring your findings to a reputable engineering or architectural journal. Give us some evidence we can test and verify...don't just repeat the same shit over and over and over. You sound like you're advocating "Intelligent Design".
