Disgusting Dominos People - Domino's President Responds

Deano says...

>> ^dag:
Thank god this national treasure is on the job to quell the madness of this terrible, terrible tragedy. It's been keeping me up nights.

LOL!

I think this was a smart thing to do, it at least makes him look like his company has his finger on the pulse. I haven't seen the video in question, and I don't want to, but it sure does heighten those fears about food preparation. Just had a chicken wrap because I have no food in my fridge and feeling edgy

BTW I like Dominos

Just Say No To Nicolas Cage Movies PSA

13387 says...

If this is meant to be a joke then it sucks harder than a bad Nic Cage movie. That said, I liked "The Rock", "Adaptation", and "National Treasure". I bet most of these guys would have loved to have made as much money in as many bad films. They come off like jealous assholes.

Just Say No To Nicolas Cage Movies PSA

Lithic says...

I dunno, I like Nic Cage, sometimes. Leaving Las Vegas, Adaptation, 8mm and Lord of War were all good. Just don't go see his crap stuff.

I mean seriously, National Treasure, Ghost Rider? The fact that these movies were bad came as a surprise to someone? IT'S RIGHT THERE IN THE TITLE! Come on people.

Nic Cage has sucked for quite a while.. I did enjoy him on Face Off and National Treasure, and I pretty much don't expect anything but a mindless (fun) movie from him any more.

But come on, Tom Hanks did DaVinci Code, and that was sooooooooo bad! =)

Haha. I am a contrarian! Still, I'm not a fan of FDR. I'm also not a fan of Abe Lincoln or Andrew Jackson. Sorry, just because they have their faces on our money doesn't mean I have to like them. Thomas Jefferson was a terrible president, too; even if he's the man I most admire in our history. As for Sinatra, I was just being silly. As for... who? Michael Jordan? Whoa! That man is a national treasure! And John Holmes' cock isn't small, it just tastes small.

Dana Perino: Questioned :How many Civilians have we killed?

kagenin says...

"The lady" is Helen Thomas, one of the senior-most members of the White House Press Corps. She joined the United Press International in 1943, left when right-wing religious radicals (News World Communications Inc.) bought it out in 2000, and has worked for Hearst Newspapers since.

She is nothing short of a national treasure and one of the most respected journalists in the field. She was reporting from the White House press room while Perino was just an itch in her daddy's crotch. The way Perino speaks to her in this clip is just disgraceful.

Oh, I almost forgot: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Helen_Thomas

"No End In Sight" -- full movie on the US occupation in Iraq

volumptuous says...

"You liberal pussy quitters make me sick. You are incapable of looking past your own fucked up nose at the goal. Give up!"

Unbeleivable.

Noone is horrified by this quagmire because it's "so tough". We are embarassed and, frankly, pissed-off because it is illegal, immoral, and an enormous lie that has lead to deaths of hundreds of thousands of people, drained our national treasure, lit the middle east on fire, and shredded our constitution in the process.

It will take generations to correct the grotesque path that your elected officials have taken the entire world on, all so meatheads like "davido53" can see dead Iraqi children on their teevee's.

David: If you love killing Iraqi kids so much, why are you on VideoSift instead of in Basra?

I Wouldn't Steal A Purse, But I Do Download Films

dannym3141 says...

I'm no expert on the film industry or their salaries, so i'm going to make a completely ineducated point.

The problem that i have is that certain people in the film industry want to make an absolute killing. I want people to be payed what they deserve, for the quality of the content they produce, and for the role that they play in that production.

Someone, somewhere, is getting a whopping great salary for doing not very much, and for every person down the line that squeezes a bit more money that they don't deserve out of the film, the end cost is going to increase further and further. Until the guy running the cinema realises that he's going to have to charge me £8 so that he can make a profit (and maybe he's over-egging that price as well).

I just checked and The Matrix made 1 billion (1x10^9) dollars from cinema stuff alone. Forget all the merchandise, royalties, box sets, reduxes, editions, and whatever else. I want to know whose pockets that lined. Cos when i have to pay £15-20 for a DVD, my pockets aren't gonna be lined for very long.

I've got 2 things to say in conclusion;
1. If you're supplying something that's not fair, people are going to say "screw you!" There's a lot of assholes out there who're out for all they can get, but there's also a lot of non-assholes out there who are tired of paying £20 for a DVD, or £10 to see a film that turns out to be absolute garbage.
2. The price has to reflect the quality! If Half-Life (1) had cost £80 when it first came out, and i had known that, today, i would STILL be playing that damn game, i would have given them twice as much.

To see The Matrix, i would have payed £10 happily. To see "National Treasure 2", i wouldn't expect to be paying more than £3. But they both cost me the same (excusing inflation). And the people responsible for presenting it to me still made a lot of money. Whereas they SHOULD be picking up a small amount of money, and a lesson to make better films in future if they want more money.

There's flaws in my argument - i don't care. I'm sick of being fleeced. And i want Nicholas Cage to provide services to myself to cover his £7 arrears.[/rant]

Earl Scruggs & Doc Watson - Ole John Hardy

snoozedoctor says...

Like I said, finger pickers rule. I've seen Doc at least 10 or 15 times. I went to school in Boone. He lives in Deep Gap and he used to come over and get guitar strings and stuff from Dixie Music now and then. A national treasure he is.
