Wendy Carlos demonstrates her Moog Synthesizer in 1970
Wendy was Walter back then. My college roommate had some early albums and hoped the she got really famous in hopes of selling them for big bucks.
And he loved Moogs.

Wikipedia says no one noticed the sideburns until 1979.
Nice to see a face to attach to music from Tron and A Clockwork Orange.
Also the Moog synthesiser is pretty interesting, not least for the difficulty in finding out the correct pronunciation of the name.

WHO TOOK THE COOKIE FROM THE COOKIE JAR ?!?
There's that damn cheerful narrator and that funky Moog music again....GODDAMN I could watch these all day!!!
How it's Made: Soap Bars
The narrator's cheerful, energetic voice combined with the ballet of machinery, not to mention the product that's being manufactured which has never failed to fascinate.....oh and don't forget the Moog soundtrack???-"Two tumbs uuuuup!"

Huh, I always thought it was pronounced Moog (like Moo G), not Moag.
No kidding!
'Aerodynamic' (Daft Punk) on Google Moog Doodle

Awesomesauce! Daft Punk is such an under appreciated band IMO.
Geeze, how appreciated should they be? They've been nominated for 8 Grammys, won 2 of them. They've appeared in movies, tv shows, adverts. They composed the soundtrack for one of the most awesome movies ever, Tron Legacy, their albums have gone platinum and gold around the world... what more do you want?
