I was thinking I can pretty much calculate my age from that video.

C is my native tongue (but was far from my first language) but I just realised it's probably 20 years since I used it in anger. I do the odd bit of scripting at home and work, and still have an android app to scratch a personal itch that I keep failing to make time for.

I'm also surprised at the recent stats - some languages far lower than I'd expected, some far higher. It is nice to see Python up there - as a Monty Python fan I remember seeing it very early on and have been urging it on ever since.

Oh...So when you post videos of old crumbling abandoned buildings in Cuba it's an honest depiction of the entire country, when someone else shows some in America it's out of line and lies....hypocrite. There are way more empty buildings in America today than 3 years ago with unemployment at historic highs.

I learned about Monty Python from my high school print shop teacher in my freshman year. We would listen to 'Monty Python's Previous Record' while sorting out all the lead type in the California job case while laughing our butts off. Good times.

Fun Fact:

To remember which letters go into the correct slots in the type case, we learned short phrases. Basically 3 rows held the basic alphabet and the 3 phrases were:
