@kceaton1 I'm level 22 and pure necro, I don't know what you're talking about waiting 5 minutes and necro being underpowered. If it's a minor fight, I just summon 1 or 2 skeles then blast my target with spectral magic, he dies fast. I finished all the arena challenges, and they were great, a lot of fun, just challenging enough after I levelled up a bit. For the final few arena challenges I would rush it start summoning like mad, summon 8 or 9 skeles then go to work with missiles. Mabe you haven't yet realized that you can stack the same cards on top of each other for lengthier summons, more summons and summons of a high level.

I really enjoyed that whole quest line with the crime boss and the chick and that guy mirage, and the tongue. By the end I was truly engrossed and was sad to see some characters leave you at the end of that quest line. There was not a single quest line that really engrossed me like that in Oblivion.

Anyways, I'm sure the ps3 version I'm playing is better than the pc version. The ps3's version has an interface that doesn't frustrate me at all, fast and easy to navigate.

I find the feeling of character progression in TW2 is better, in Oblivion, there's the mobs levelling with you problem and the lack of items which ends up with you having nothing to do by level 25 aside from finish the story and concoct spells at the Uni.

This game is an excellent way to get your fix until Skyrim.

Hmm. I think there would be a better way to explain it, assuming that I understood the idea properly:

Lets for a moment ignore the finite speed of light; Alan Davies was I think suggesting that might be what is being referenced here. For example, light from the sun takes about 8 minutes (8.3 roughly) to get to Earth, therefore where we see the sun in the sky is actually where the sun was 8 minutes ago. However, I don't think that is the idea here, because that would be universally true rather than happening when the sun sets in particular.

Instead I think that the idea is that the atmosphere bends the light from the sun when it is coming through at that low angle, so what we are seeing had actually been bent around and altered like a mirage. If I am getting that right, I think some better ways to explain it would include:

Shooting a bow and arrow at fish in a lake. If you aim directly at the fish and release your arrow, you will miss because the water has bent the light that you see. The atmosphere is doing the same thing to the sun's light in this case. OR

Lets assume that you had a gun which could shoot bullets at infinite speed, beyond the speed of light even. If you aimed and shot at the sun as it was setting, you would miss the sun because your bullet would fly out in a straight vector, but the sun wouldn't actually be where it appears due to the light being bent by the atmosphere.

Pretty cool, but explained in a way that wasn't quite as clear as normal QI for me.

I hope this makes sense, im more of a visual person, so writing it out might sound confusing...

Imagine theres individual photons of light reflecting off of the car that is giving you the information of what the car looks like. Now recall the part in the video about the angle of incidence. Parts of the car that are closer to the ground are going to reach their angle of incidence closer to the car (from where you are standing), while higher parts of the car are going to reach this point closer to you from where you are standing. So now if you imagine yourself standing there, looking at the mirage, the image will appear upside down because the varying angles of incidence "flips" the image.

@reiwan, I get that part, but if you look closely at the last few seconds of the video, the image coming from the mirage is upside-down, while the image of the car is right-side-up.

I'm just trying to figure out why the act of the light bending reverses the image, since it is not reflecting.

Both the words reflecting and mirror are somewhat misleading when describing the physics behind mirages because neither of which are actually involved with what is going on. The light is actually bending because its following the path of least resistance (through the hotter air above the road). But its described as if it is "reflecting from a mirror" because that is something that people are familiar with, but in essence is really a lie.

It's neither Harrier or F/A-18 Hornet. It's French Mirage F-1.

It's not a Harrier because there is single drop tank in the middle. Harrier's can't fuel tank in that location because Harriers don't have center pylon. Also, refueling probe is on the wrong side and location.

Harriers also have 3 pylons on each wing (RAF has 4 per wing) This plane only has 1 visible

It's not a Hornet, because Hornets have twin vertical stabilizer.
