Remember this voice from Spongebob?
Is that Marilyn Manson's dad?
twenty one pilots: Stressed Out (Official video)
Greetings to you in Columbus from Canton. Ohio does have a decent rock history beyond just the rock hall... Chrissie Hynde, DEVO, Trent Reznor (technically from PA, but his NIN project started in Cleveland, so I count him as Ohio), Marilyn Manson, and Black Keys just to name ones off the top of my head... John Legend... of course there's also Dean Martin but he's not rock... I know there's more... I was last in Columbus for the 4th of July for the Columbus Crew game that day.

Swat Team Completely Destroys Home Chasing Shoplifter
I had a couple opportunities to shoot animals...well...two deer, but thank God there was always someone else willing to do it. I would rather shoot a person who was deserving than an animal.
But why is it that we only get one side of the story here. Was the guy shooting at people? You leave a gunman in a house and every house in that vicinity has to be abandoned until the bad guy gives up, which could take all week.
Gee, even Charlie Manson got to tell his side of the story, but here at videosift, you only get one side.
It's a kangaroo court with newtboy as the Lord High Executioner! lol
Here's the story:

So they got the guy out alive, which did take 20 hours. If the cops had shot the guy, I imagine you folks wouldn't be happy about that either.

This didn't really work for me. The Moonlight Sonata just didn't mesh with Hotel California, and the imagery just felt like a random early 90s video by Marilyn Manson or Nirvana or . Not that those videos are bad, it's just been done before.
Last Week Tonight - Ferguson and Police Militarization
You fellas defending the cops need to think again.
You DO NOT SHOOT except to SAVE LIFE. I don't care if its Charlie Manson - if he's unarmed and surrendering in broad daylight YOU DO NOT SHOOT HIM.
Failure to respect this code leads to paranoia, violence, rage, hatred and TOTAL SOCIAL APOCALYPSE.
Ferguson will get back from the brink but only because of people who understand that.
Btw Norway has the most liberal, kindest, most forgiving judicial system in the world (AFAIK) and also the LOWEST REOFFENDNG AND CRIME RATES.
USA reoffending rate 85%. Incarceration rate highest outside of Somalia. So if the moral spiritual ethical stance is too lefty for you try BASIC FUCKING STRATEGY.
Murderer Patricia Krenwinkel's "Life After Manson"
@newtboy If you've heard "most Teabaggers" advocating such things, why haven't you reported them to the "authorities" for conspiring to commit a crime?
Leaving lies and absurdities aside, "advocating" something is legally different from specifically inciting someone to commit a crime, knowing that they will in fact go through with it. I guess Manson could've claimed that he was joking or something, but the court didn't think so any more that they would think that Bin Laden and the other 9-11 "masterminds" were just "advocating" without expecting anything to happen. Manson was charged with conspiracy to commit murder, not with actually murdering anyone. "Most" Teabaggers aren't conspiring to kill anyone.
Like the head of a criminal organization "conspiring"* or ordering a subordinate to go take someone out, a lot depends on the relationship between the instigator and the one who does the deed -- which is not the same as "advocating" generally or to random people to do some criminal activity in the abstract. So, yeah.. why, indeed, would they get such a "bad rep?"
As for Manson getting a "bad rep?"
It's a mystery dude, a total mystery.
*The charge does not require actually committing any crime (other than conspiring) of going through with it. That's why law enforcement likes entrapment so much: because they can make arrests by instigating people to plot a crime. It's like hiring an undercover cop pretending to be a prostitute. No actual crime was committed, but the intention to commit a crime itself is considered a crime. But, to be sure, there's some degree of "mind reading" involved in the charge of conspiracy, as the law implies the assumption of intent. The charge, then, lends itself to false accusations (and convictions) too. (Apparently social media is inundated with agents trying to get people to agree to crimes so that they can get arrested and prosecuted for conspiring. Of course, nobody trolls videosift for legal advice.)
Murderer Patricia Krenwinkel's "Life After Manson"
I'm often confused as to why Manson gets SUCH a bad rep. Don't get me wrong, he was (is) crazy and evil, but from all I've read on him, he never actually killed anyone, he just told other people to do it and they did. While that's bad, if that's enough to get one put in jail for life, why are most Teabaggers not in prison, I've repeatedly heard them advocate killing Obama, cops, feds, and 'liberals', and some of them have gone ahead and done it (recall the two morons months back that killed 2 cops then themselves....FUR FREEDOM!). Doesn't that make anyone that advocated it just as bad as Manson? If not, why not?
Cop Says Obama Doesn't Follow Constitution, Neither Does He
Eh? I don't think @newtboy was comparing anyone to Charles Manson.
He was essentially saying "two wrongs don't make a right". Feels like a valid point to me.
If you want hyperbole, look at that bullshit Higgs quote. Let's actually ask how many police assaults are happening. Instead of making up figures (on a fucking logarithmic scale, no less), let's get some actual data. Let's find out who these police are, and let's prosecute the bastards. And then while we're at it, let's get a percentage figure on the number of decent cops doing their jobs vs assholes abusing their power.
But nah, fuck it. Far easier to just claim that any contrary evidence "no longer have any standing whatever" (by the way, it's "whatsoever") since grammar pedantry is so apparently important.
Data?? That just a fancy liberal word for story!
... the comparison to Charles was a bit hyperbolic. I expect it from Bob, not you...
