Movie Bloopers That Made It To The Big Screen

AeroMechanical says...

I'm surprised about the Guardians of the Galaxy one. When Pratt dropped the orb, it actually sort of irked me how canny it looked. Guess I was wrong.

The Star Wars one I remember from when I was a kid, and my friends and I argued about whether Luke was saying "Carrie" or "Hey" and even with the modern intertube instant replay magic, I still can't call it myself one way or the other.

Star Wars Battlefront - Luke is Unstoppable... Wait...

Confederate Flag Parade in Georgia. Wait for it....

newtboy jokingly says...

Oh, you had me until your arguments WHY A-team was better.

Lets see...black 'rape' van better than a high flying, 'street legal' racing Charger? I respectfully disagree.
Better theme song, not to my ears, but both are good.
Peppard, better than Uncle Jesse, depends on the episode to me. Mr. T, OK, he's better than any single Duke character...but Murdock wasn't 1/4 the comedy relief of Roscoe P Coltrane, Enos, and Flash....and the Team had nothing to answer Daisy!
"I love it when a plan come's together", great line (I still say it all the time), but then again, so was "Luke, how come you didn't stop for me?" asked by Bo after diving in the window of the General at about 30 mph!

Then you have the military supermen that can't hit a person-ever VS the country boys that can hit moving targets from moving targets with arrows wrapped with dynamite and moonshine Molotov's! COME ON!

But all that said, 9/10 episodes of Hazard were basically the same story, Boss Hog is stealing something and the boys need to escape the crooked law to stop him. At least A-Team had more story variation, more explosions, and just as many car flips/jumps. Kind of an apple/orange thing to me. My 12 year old self was glad they were not on at the same time, no DVR back then.

Louis CK Probably won't be Invited back to SNL after this

poolcleaner says...

Mild racism: Watching the two black band members react to Louis' jokes. How will they take the jokes?

Mild racism: Watching Age of Ultron and exclaiming, "Everyone has a black superhero friend!"

Captain America <3 Falcon

Ironman <3 War Machine

Thor <3 Heimdall

Black Widow <3 Black Nick Fury

Hulk is black Bruce Banner

Daredevil <3 the Night Nurse

Jessica Jones <3 Luke Cage

Need i get into the black on Asian, black on white, Hyde on Asian action going on in Agents of SHIELD -- you're an inhuman happa hacker that fires earthquakes out of your fingers, welcome to the future.

Yeah, mild racism!! Eventually it's all meaningless because no one cares. Don't need to be getting all Ulysses Klaw on no Wakandan kings or nuthin'.

Star Wars Battlefront Reveal Trailer

Payback says...

They were there, the rebels just tried to avoid them.

Case in point, when Luke surrendered to Vader, there was an AT-AT thumping around.

This actually makes me more excited than the new movie trailer. I've been burned by too many Star Wars movies in the past, while most Star Wars games that I've played were at least serviceable if not quite enjoyable. I can't wait to drive some speeders through Endor...if only you could target some Ewoks.
Nice to see they brought the robot camels to the forest this time. ;-)

Oh my God, Chewy...! Yoga is not for dogs...

star wars prequel-nostalgia critic gets owned by Mr plinkett

Jinx says...

Couldn't agree more on the lightsaber fights.

I think it was Lucas himself who asked that the lightsaber should be moved as if it had real weight even though it was made of, well, light. I think the fact the actors appear to have to exert themselves to throw and parry blows makes the whole thing seem more intense despite the slower pace of the fight. Vader crumbles under the shear force of the enraged Luke's blows - does anybody ever get overpowered in this manner in the prequels? I understand this logic that Jedi at the height of the Republic would be more skilled with a blade, but it results in two characters flailing around striking the air in front of their opponent with blows that appear to have no force behind them at all.

New fan made trailer for The Empire Strikes Back

Sagemind says...

It really focuses on what the movie was all about. the Empire's search to control Luke and Luke's Battle to grow beyond and fend off the Empire.
It gives you the focus that it really was about Luke's plight and not all the other sub characters.

Marvel's Agent Carter Sneak Peek

entr0py says...

Marvel's going to hit some over-saturation point soon but they've got Daredevil, Luke Cage, Iron First, the Defenders and Jessica Jones all headed to Netflix in the next few years. Madness.

Sam Harris: Can Psychedelics Help You Expand Your Mind?

Engels says...

I know you're a big ole troll, shiny, about as christian as my left shoe, but to indulge you for a moment, those two quotes in particular, if you are an -actual- Christian who believes that Jesus -was- in fact God, then you know that the passage from John has no particularly stronger meaning than being with the deity is important to your life's salvation. That's nothing particularly unique to Christianity.

With regards to that other out of context Luke quote, who the heck knows what you mean by quoting it, other than Jesus wanted you to feel bad for doing bad things. Not exactly exclusivist. Pretty sure that thought has been around since the first inkling of empathy happened in the great apes..
