The video here is so tainted by her very bad experiences, that she's making the assumption that the whole industry is exactly like her own experiences, and as @youdiejoe explained very nicely above, they're not. So what are we to believe of this video? My own evaluation is that while she had a terrible experience, this does not warrant the judgment of the industry, just of the people who abused her. I'll even go so far as to agree that the porn industry is worse than many other industries as far as abuse goes, but other industries also have abuse in many different ways. Remember ea_spouse and the other similar one for the LA Noire developers.

Anyways, coming back to bias - there's always bias, but it's all about the degree of bias. Which is most biased: Fox news or BBC? Both are biased towards certain things, but something as trivial as the language used is a very small factor.

The parody channel was added by @ant, and I interpret that as synonymous to "a travesty" (no offense to transvestites), especially vis-à-vis what you point out, i.e. that gang-rape is a very male (and almost always heterosexual) vice. What is really alarming is that there are still hateful bigots out there depicting the lesbian "agenda" in this way today (see for example Pat Robertson on "lesbian babykilling"). It seemed to me that the * lies contained in this propaganda film were so obvious that adding that channel would be redundant, but perhaps I should just in case?

One caveat though: women can and do commit sexual abuse, albeit to a far, far lesser extent than men.

I watched this with great amusement until the "gang rape" part started. It took a turn to the dark for me, but I thought maybe I was being all uber-sensitive. So I sent the link to my Resident Expert Lesbian and asked her what she thought. She said this:
"I mean, I GET the melodramatic aspect, which is sort of amusing, but because this is how we've been portrayed as fact in recent HIStory, it's so creepy AND damaging and you know it must have been believed. So it's painful for me to watch as well, you know?

Wow, has it been that long? It seems only yesterday that on the LiveJournal community of ROFLCL this post was shared. I started rummaging around the site for a week or so before signing up.
I've seen SO many things change in my time here.

• I remember the Army Green color scheme. I remember 3 votes got you sifted (or more during the day, PST).
  
• I remember having to check and * save/requeue posts that weren't getting enough exposure to sift.
  
• I remember the time of the siftquisitions. Most notably Quantum Mushroom and Choggie.
  

But for every bad thing I remember at least two good ones.

• I've had the pleasure of meeting, in person: @youdiejoe, @lucky760, @charms, @poolcleaner, @volumptuous @dystopianfuturetoday, @Issykitty, @blankfist, @Grimm, @firefly . All amazing people. (this accounts for both So Cal Siftmeets. read below why I mention this)
  
• With the advent of PQueue I've seen many great documentaries make their way through. Getting these out before, such long videos, was nearly impossible.
  
• Overall I've seen the quality of what we bring to the table, we sifters, increase. We're no longer just full of cat videos. Now we have cats and Rabbits in Prison! How can you hate that?

All in all I've seen, from my own semi-lurking status, this community grow and mature (mature except for all the Blankfist/Kronoposeidon posts ~_^). And I would not want to change this community in any ways because of it.

PS: Our last talks about another So Cal Siftmeet went stale about this time last year. As mentioned above I've met so many great people there I propose we restart talks on this. My personal time is admittedly limited (40/hr week job, class 4 nights a week, planning to move out of state for more college work) but I would like to have another. Anyone interested?

Like I said, I knew others would disagree, and I am sure that the submitter had the best of intentions.

I just wanted to make sure I left a reason for downvoting, I do it very very rarely and I think people deserve to know why people downvote.

I have to disagree. This is no way glorifies it and if anything will make it so that this person will likely get caught. There have been numerous cases where the internet community has been able to track down crazy people like this thanks to videos such as this one. If I remember correctly there was a case where some kid was boasting about abusing an animal and was later caught thanks to 4chan or something... I'll have to look it up.
