I keep that one in the photo quite sharp, yes. The other one is not of a high enough standard for me to bother maintaining the blade's edge. Just a silly collector Katana.

There's one of my two Katanas. And yes, I took this with my Blackberry right this second, and yes, that is a photo of Chewbacca signed by Peter Mayhew. What you don't see next to it is the photo of Darth Vader signed by David Prowse.

I've got a katana next to my bed for just that purpose.

Back in 1999 or maybe 2000 when I first got my NES emulator, I played through Ninja Gaiden 1-3 in about a week or two. At the end of that time I wanted to start carrying a katana. The urge passed rather quickly.

Heh, I sleep with a katana by my bed. Mostly for decoration. Mostly.

And that's why Orcas are the Katanas of the sea!

It's not amazing for his skill, but for the strength of the blade.

Because beyond the first dent, it cut the pipe. Try it with a hatchet, what you end up with is the pipe squashed flat, THEN cut, if the pipe had been pressurized with water or something, it would have been a clean cut. If you noticed, the blade was undamaged after.
