Emerson, Lake, and Palmer (rehearsal footage)
Before settling on Carl Palmer, they approached Mitch Mitchell of The Jimi Hendrix Experience; Mitchell was uninterested but passed the idea to Jimi Hendrix. Hendrix, tired of his band and wanting to try something different, expressed an interest in playing with the group. The British press, after hearing about this, speculated that such a supergroup would have been called HELP, or "Hendrix, Emerson, Lake & Palmer".[2]. Due to scheduling conflicts, such plans were not immediately realised, but the initial three planned a jam session with Hendrix after their second concert at the Isle of Wight Festival (their debut being in Plymouth Guildhall a day or two earlier), with the possibility of him joining. Hendrix died shortly thereafter, so the three pressed on as Emerson, Lake and Palmer.

Michael Winslow does sound effects for Star Wars IV
You can't say he's not super talented. I love his renditions of Jimi Hendrix.
I love that he left Han Solo's lines intact. They're too great to parody.
The Jimi Hendrix Expericonspiracy
^I do not intend to start an argument over this, but after reading that article, which by the way doesn't name its author and doesn't specify most of its sources, I don't really see what it has to do with the subject of this specific video. Mind you I'm concerned by the hidden powers these institutions have had and indeed to a certain degree still have today, but when it comes to the death of Jimi Hendrix I remain sceptical of any conspiracy theories. Just my two cents.
Jimi Hendrix; Hey Joe Tienerklanken

What is this from? The audio is directly from "Are You Experienced", right down to the "ack!" at 2:06. I wouldn't have expected lip-synching from Jimi, but I guess even he had to play by the rules occasionally. [edit] Was this a live performance over which someone laid the studio recording?
sorry i really dont know, I was just surfing Hendrix on youtube
Fractal Zoom : : dendrites of the mandelbrot set

Steve Vai - Tender Surrender
he says he practices for 13hrs a day, or did. a few famous guitarists say they put in around that amount of time too (jimi hendrix said around that too, and tom morello). quite a lot of guitarists could learn to play something like this, but it's knowledge of music theory that allow someone to write something like this
