Honest Trailers: Prometheus

kceaton1 says...

>> ^ChaosEngine:

Oh god no.
Not Blade Runner. Please. I'm begging you.

I have a strong, strong feeling this is coming. Is it possible to see Harrison Ford spin in his grave while he's alive still?

Might as well throw a damn predator in it for Colin Farrell, who will undoubtedly play the main role, to fight off in it as well to spice up the action and REALLY bring that 3D out on the screen...

Someone, please shoot the alien jelly-plasmoid brain-suckers that have taken over all of the executive and script writer minds in Hollywood before it reboots EVERY show ever made. Next E.T. and Star Wars will get a reboot at this pace.

Cute Sea Slugs Eat a Jelly Fish ALIVE!

Wende - Au Suivant

Enzoblue says...

Next, next
Naked as sin An army towel covering my belly Some of us blush Somehow knees turning to jelly
Next, next
I was still just a kid There were a hundred like me I followed a naked body A naked body followed me
Next, next
I was still just a kid When my innocence was lost In a mobile army whorehouse Gift of the army, free of cost
Next, next
Me, I really would have liked A little bit of tenderness Maybe a word, a smile An hour of happiness
But next, next
Oh, it wasn't so tragic The high heavens didn't fall But how much of that time I hated being there at all
Next, next, next
Now I always will recall The brothel truck, the flying flags The queer lieutenant who slapped Our asses as if we were fags
Next, next
I swear on the wet head Of my first case of gonorrhea It is his ugly voice That I forever hear
Next, next, next
That voice that stinks of whiskey Of corpses and of mud It is the voice of nations It is the thick voice of blood
Next, next, next
And since then each woman I have taken to bed Seems to laugh in my arms To whisper through my head
Next, next
All the naked and the dead Should hold each other's hands As they watch me scream at night In a dream no one understands
Next, next
And when I am not screaming In a voice grown dry and hollow I stand on endless naked lines Of the following and the followed
Next, next, next, next
One day I'll cut my legs off Or burn myself alive Anything, I'll do anything To get out of line to survive
Not ever to be next Not ever to be next

Star Trek TNG Bluray Old Vs New - Unbelievable Difference

Fletch says...

Hmmm... space jellies in love, or big-brained, telepathic Talosian aliens with pulsing head veins? Added bonus of "The Cage"... Spock is a DICK! C'mon TNG'ers, it's a frickin' GIANT JELLY FISH (with feelings)! It's been done! At least make it a dangerous Irukandji or Box (or something).

As @ChaosEngine said, TNG got a lot better than this, and I became a fan. However, I grew up with TOS, so it'll always be the best Star Trek in my mind.

Google Voice Search vs Siri (Android 4.1 Jellybean)

Stingray says...

This is great. I am really liking the current drive to make natural language a search function within phones.

I know that Google was rumored to make a product called "Majel", but I am assuming Jelly Bean is not yet using the terminology.

How to Make a Better Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich

Sarzy says...

This is the wrongest batch of wrong in the history of wrong. A sandwich with natural peanut butter might be perfectly tasty, but if you want a classic PB&J sandwich, it's gotta be Jif or Skippy or Peter Pan or one of the store-bought kinds. PB&J is classic comfort food -- it and "gourmet" should not be in the same sentence.

But then I guess I should expect this kind of nonsense from a co-owner of a place that has the balls to serve nothing but peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and to charge five bucks (or more!) per sandwich. Five bucks! For a sandwich that literally takes less than a minute to prepare, and that has about 25 cents worth of ingredients (if that).

Crosswords says...

Only thing I agree with in this video is using a lower sugar jam. My problem with most jellies and jams is they have so much sugar its hard to distinguish the actual fruit flavors. I'm willing to give them the fresh made peanut butter vs. processed as a matter of taste, the rest is just pretentious crap.

PB&J has always grossed me out. Although I will go for a plain peanut butter sandwich sometimes when I'm really lazy about preparing food.

I'm in my mid-thirties and still grossed out by most of the same exact things that grossed me out as a kid. One of them being drippy oozy goop coming out of the sides of a sandwich. Like the jelly in a PB&J... Blecch.. squicks me out.

Another thing... butter on sandwiches... I have been grossed out by this ever since my depression-era grandmother used to slather as much butter as peanut butter onto my sandwiches, and then force me to eat it all even though I'd be gagging and retching... I know, poor me, first world problems, etc.. GTFO with your BS, kids get grossed out when you fill their mouth with disgusting goop.

I have to agree with @Shepppard, give me the processed stuff! I don't do peanut butter and jelly but that's because I also am not a fan of jelly/jam. I do love peanut butter though (when I was a kid, my grandparents would send a jar with me to school because I was a picky eater)

I do eat peanut butter a certain way though. Now I only eat it on warm toast (wheat is best) with whole peanuts or pecans smashed into the gooey warm peanut butter.
