Tommy tsjotomayor condemns knockout game!!

I'm sorry, but those conclusions are pure emotional based off what you see in the MSM. If you can find me a study, a legitimate one, not one from Faux News or Huffington Post, that actually shows that a government safety net induces vagrant behavior, then I will believe you. Until then, I will stick with all the studies that show very clearly that social safety barriers do in fact work, and that the decades old gutting of the programs are wrecking havoc on the system. Not to mentioned the systematic desecration of the educational system that's been designed solely for "efficiency" and pumps out students that are over qualified, unhappy, massively in debt and lead to believe a lie in which they can never achieve, or the exact opposite and ditches those most in need yet are the most visually different.

Combine this with white flight, red lining, and a culture of fear mongering, race baiting and rapid communication and we have a perfect storm. The general population is so overrun with sad stories and empathy inducing situations they actually go into empathy shock - a state in which they cease to care and numb themselves so they don't have to make a decision. A decision which they may later feel bad about. Instead, it's "nothing I can do about it so I won't care." And yes, this happens with those "gang-bangers" you talk about.

Instead of solving the situation, which is a blatant and total discrepancy in incomes, social normality, and general empathy, we will continue to have this problem. So long as white flight occurs and the NYPD openly racially profiles and harasses 110% (no joke) of the black community, and so long as the Christian Right still chants "it's ok to profile brown people" both in NYC, Arizona and everywhere else we will continue to have this problem.

Ever hear of the Theory of Attitudes? Or Reactance? There is far more going on than "if we give them money they'll stop working." Because I'm pretty sure every Christmas when your parents (general assumption) gives you presents, you instantly stop working. Totally proven concept, eh?

Uhhh, maybe you needed the sarcasm button for THAT statement. What's "factual" is the end result all over the fucking televison and internet, a national case-study of how to fuck-up a generation of imprint-able minds. Whether the scenario TC layed-down or a dozen others from the same petri, what do need, a diagram, a dozen "expert" analyses in the form of published thesis or someone YOU trust to make the leap??

Punks from broken homes matey, males and females with no business breeding, for lack of intent or abilities. It ain't fucking rocket-science man, it's model airplanes.

Ooooohhh Sketchy, yer not supposed to admit that to anyone, remember?? (same goes true for those hailing from Rhode Island)-Never give away yer tells!

BTW @eric-So the Huffington post says she was drunk, as will any news agency when reporting on the "Evils of the Grain", but what they never tell you, is that the drunk nowadays, usually has a fat pharmaceutical addiction and is also floating on anti-depressants, otherwise known as mind-killers.

The bitch's problem is NOT anchored in alcohol alone...Oh and down-vote voyeurs poking-fun at human wreckage.

Sirius Documentary Film (full video)

chuckles08 says...

I've been keenly awaiting for this documentary about Dr. Steven Greer and the movement for UFO/new energy disclosure to come out. Now that I've seen it, I have also been seeing a lot of schoolboy/adolescent-grade bashing of this film.

I wonder if this is a "knee-jerk" reaction to such a controversial topic. Just these two issues below (of the several issues discussed in the film), cannot be so quickly dismissed as "ufo nonsense".

1. The witness testimonies (on video) from over-100 high-ranking government and military officials, pilots, and scientists.
2. The 6-inch Atacama body has not been proven to be human (even though Huffington Post was quick to state that's all it was). Watch the film, it goes in to detail about the findings made at Standford University.

The corporate news are the sources and encyclopedias for American Traitors.

American media is free to most extents. Just have to get it distributed and then not bought out by a bunch of wealthy dicks who just want to corrupt every message for their own gain. Maybe the problem is that we keep reinforcing the idea of what the American media is. I for one say Democracy Now and the Huffington Post and Indymedia are true American media outlets.

10 things you shouldn't do at a public toilet

CarloElite says...

Over 800 instances of human waste are reported in San Francisco each month. This does not aid tourism in the city. Thankfully, Oakland-based ecological engineering company Hyphae Design Laboratory has come to flush the problem away, reports the San Francisco Huffington Post. They'll soon set up eco-friendly “pooplets” to tackle the staggering insufficient public toilets the homeless can use. @dystopianfuturetoday

It really doesn't seem like you have the monopoly on legitimate sentiments that you believe you have.

All the points you accused Blankfist of apply equally to you:
-[Dystopianfuturetoday] does not like the information [from Reason].
-He cannot find any evidence to suggest that the damning information is false.
-He then tries to discredit the article [from Reason] on the basis that the site it was posted on has a political bias.

To paraphrase your words: that SourceWatch, the Huffington Post, and Reason are political media outlets isn't grounds to disqualify their arguments.

It's true that libertarians tend to become very economically successful, like Peter Thiel, who also donates to many libertarians causes, but being funded by rich philanthropists like Thiel or Al Gore doesn't disqualify arguments.

>> ^dystopianfuturetoday:

ReasonTV isn't a news outlet, it's a corporate conservative front group. It's subscription and ad revenue are miniscule, sustaining itself almost entirely by donations from corporate benefactors - most notably war profiteer and Tea Party funder, David Koch.

Ya, it wasn't the quiet. I had quite a time trying to find the sword in the clip, but I found it, alas, it only had one side.
