Atheist in the Bible Belt outs herself because she is MORAL
I had faith in the Spaghetti once, but then the big G found that it was frozen, store bought. Not fresh and handmade like was told by the spiteful one.
Dogs Playing Bluegrass
Bet those are handmade cat gut strings =oD
Incredible Space Saving Furniture
I rather have my nice, large, solid-wood, comfy, king-sized bed with a high end tempur-pedic mattress, my handmade armorie, and a nice, solid wood desk. Sleeping on cheap-particle board and foam as an adult seems like the most useless idea to me.
The Coolest Instrument You've Probably Never Heard Of
One of my favorite band's in the world The Ex found this band in the Congo called Konono N°1. I still have a split LP Konono did with New Zealand noise rockers The Dead C. Anyway, they play those thumb things through handmade amps. It's fucking awesome and psychedelic

How A Traditional Wine Barrel Is Made
I love to see that kind of craft. Impressively handmade, but imagine how much more difficult it would have been a few hundred years ago!
'Arthur Animated' by Jo Hamilton Art
"This is a stop motion video I made to document my process of crocheting one of my larger than life portraits in yarn from start to finish. In my work I use a traditional basic crochet technique taught to me at an early age by my Gran. I work one knot at a time, from the inside out, row by row. I always begin my crochet portraits in the middle with the eyes and work out from there until the piece is completed. I work directly from photographs, using no sketches, graphs or computer imaging. Each piece is handmade, labour-intensive, instinctively composed. Nothing is planned ahead; I make it up as I go along. I spend a lot of time simply looking, unraveling, and reworking until I get it right. To make this video I photographed the work after each new yarn colour or two was added, and edited the photos into a sequence. This 30 second sequence contains over 300 photos of the work in progress. The portrait is of my dear friend Arthur Cheesman, who is sadly no longer with us. Website johamiltonart.com. Oil and water, puzzle box and weed.
Which gives me a great idea for what to stash in that secret compartment.

Dave Johnson's Amazing Magnet Machine
>> ^MarineGunrock:
It's a neat idea, sure. But "rocked the world of automation enthusiasts"? I guess it doesn't take much...
Being primarily a software automation guy I thought along the same lines.... perhaps the guy writing the summary is buddies with Dave. Good salesmanship I suppose. (i.e. "The most amazing video with a mole and a chimpanzee hitting a baseball of ALL TIME!!!")
That said, this is amazing to me. The magnetic ball chain was an awesome idea. I only wish I could do this sort of stuff with hardware. I once tried to put a handmade geared setup together and quickly determined I didn't have the skills for the task.
The most incredible tool chest you may ever see
It's amazing and sad at the same time... the craftmanship required to make this piece still exists today among very specialized instrument makers, but very very few can afford this kind of custom work anymore. Quality has become too expensive for the average joe. Sorry folks, a plywood box with wood screws is all you'll get. I operate a small model shop, and I'm not pretending I could build this, but if I could, the chest only would be worth 50k$. Plus I'd say 100k$ for the handmade tools. A year's work full time... Who's interested?
