No doubt Manos was good but Space Mutiny, Mitchell, Time Chasers and even Eegah are all funnier. IMO.

One afternoon in summer 2005, I was practicing drill in full dress with the Ceremonial Guard in Ottawa on a soccer pitch at Carleton University campus (CG's home base) when the Snowbirds gave us a low pass directly overhead, then came back and did it again. It was clear they knew we'd be there at that time and chose to give us a salute. A great moment.

There's a great moment in the movie Gandhi where he tells one of his closest friends, a British minister in India, that the best way he can help the Indian cause is to go back to England. "We need to do this ourselves."

I have no idea if this ever actually happened in real life, but it is one of the things that kind of bugs me about the way Laurence of Arabia is portrayed.

As for the Blind Side, well I really don't have any problem with the parody. The movie itself makes it clear that the motives of the well-to-do waspish family are somewhat suspect, but it is addressed as well as it can be with scenes where it is clear that the mother is willing to go through some serious stress in order to do what she thinks is right, not necessarily some white-guild stuff. Ultimately, the credits were what really did it for me, seeing the pictures of the real people involved was really touching.

I guess the real question that seems to have a lot of us going back and forth in the discussion is whether a person of one race do an act of kindness for another without it being something racial. I certainly think so.

Can I get a *quality on this video?

I have both of the previous Deus Ex games. The first is a must play for every serious gamer... The second, Invisible War, is not... It was a console game and it was seriously dumbed down compared to the first one. It did have some great moments though, like the coffee shop quest line, but nowhere near as good as the first.

I hope the third one is a back to the roots kinda game...

the movie was ok.had some great moments but they were few and far between.the book was far more engaging and textured.

Heard this on the news this morning, very sad. He was responsible for so many great moments from the 80's and 90's, his stories really defined what it meant to be a youngster then, as well as being great movies.
