Why every gal should buy their boyfriend Wii Fit

^ I'm not saying there was anything wrong at all with the girl - my point is she was not portrayed in a glamorous done-up way at all - she was just a girl in her undies.

Robot Shopping Cart

youdiejoe says...

From the Gizmo Garden website:

"Carlos was a college kinetic sculpture project. I was interested in the concept of automating aspects of society that were considered not so "glamorous". Robotics are often used in environments which are considered dangerous to humans. Deep sea exploration, nuclear cleanup and volcanism are some of the "higher profile" adverse environments which robots are used. My question was, "What about other dangerous or hazardous areas?". For example, homeless people live in extremely dangerous environments. Shouldn't there be automated equipment used by this strata of society? So, for this project I chose to implement an automated walking, homeless shopping cart. I imagine now, to carry this project to completion I should have given the controls to someone who was actually living on the streets near the university. There was a large homeless population near the campus, and there would have been plenty of opportunity. Unfortunately, I had to disassemble the project for parts before this happened."

Why does the media hate John Edwards?

9727 says...

Hahaha, nice, Kronosposeidon. I hear you. I like Ron Paul too--he's refreshingly honest and candid and actually makes true Republicanism seem appealing--but I'm sorry, getting rid of the Dept. of Education is wack-job logic to me, plus he's got a lot of creepy anti-gay background noise. Edwards is a also a much more realistic candidate and someone needs to address the poison of lobbyist influence in this society. He isn't glamorous the way Hillary and Obama are, but he's got a solid message.

Why is VideoSift so insanely in love with Ron Paul? Let's see some other candidates being looked at.

How to Photograph a Nude Woman.

xxovercastxx says...

Anyone who is genuinely interested in model photography (nude, glamor, fetish, erotic, fashion, portrait, etc), I suggest taking a look at the tutorials of Jean-Sébastien Monzani. He primarily shoots fashion and portrait, but most of his advice applies across the board.

I can also recommend the photography of Winter Kelly & JM Johnston (my avatar is one of theirs), Nikos Vasilakis, Nikola Borissov, Derek Heisler, Michael Helms, Perry Gallagher, Dark Matter Zone and Magnus Svensson.

Honestly and I am not one to judge without knowing the person, but your comments are completely ridiculous and not even logical. Not everyone is caught up in what quote "the fucking fake culture/counterculture” very intelligent. When you claim that marijuana is the drug of the middle class, yea to a degree you are right. But let me ask you what other drugs do you think are more glamorous or less middle class like you speak of? You need to grow up and realize there is more to marijuana than the petty subculture you have created in your mind.

This is why I will never play Halo

Seth MacFarlane on why WGA Strike is for the "Little Guy"

blankfist says...

No, I know they have unions. I guess I wasn't being very clear, because you're not the first to ask me that, dag. Or people aren't reading my comments before responding to them. Hmmm...

Though, I guess my point was not so much about proving or disproving whether unions exist, but rather I was trying to illustrate a simple analogy (that snowballed out of control, apparently) about me picking up the yellow pages and calling a plumber and getting price quotes. From there, it's really gotten off point, so... moving on?

Yes, my good friend is (rather was thanks to the strikes) writing a nice little Warner Bros. script for a big actress, and although that sounds exciting, it wasn't the goldmine you'd think it would be. To be clear, I'm not debating whether they should or shouldn't get paid more, either. So, yeah, these are things I am NOT debating. And, I'm the very first person to say filmmaking is anything BUT glamorous. Screenwriting is probably the most glamorous aspect of filmmaking, because crew is pretty much the pits. And, I love it.

blankfist - do you think electricians and plumbers don't have unions? Go try and get a job as a "free-lance" electrician and see how that works out.

I have known screen-writers in general they are usually very much at the low-end of the pay-scale. Gaffers and even other crew members can wind-up making much more than writers.

I think there really is a lot of misconception about the "glamorous" lifestyle of a screen writer. On a per capita basis - I bet plumbers do better- but then, they have a very strong union.

MP5 Machine Gun Briefcase

9138 says...

hi,
new here. Why would a business man be travelling in treacherous areas where he would be likely to be kidnapped or assasinated? The only reason I can think of is to profit from the trouble. And to carry a machine gun in a briefcase. I think James Bond is a jerk. But a glamorous jerk with glamorous accessories like this particular item. I guess you just make the decision whether or not to be seduced by the glamour of war.

Another 'Photoshop Beauty' Video

Goofball_Jones says...

Ok, idiotic video. Downvote for me. First, they show a bunch of glamor shots of celebs then use old morph software to morph the glamor shot into an paparazzi shot or snapshot of an older celeb. Talk about total BS. The Goldie Hawn one the pictures had to be about 10 years apart. Hawn is 60 years old now, of COURSE she's going to look old.

I happen to do this for a living, and RARELY do we have to do total makeovers. It's mainly because the photographers now are lazy and get crappy shots and they all think "meh, they'll fix it in post". Don't believe this video is the norm for a second.
