'Cowboy Bebop' teaser lookin' very Scott Pilgrim-esque

Bush fire goes from 1 to a 100 in a couple seconds

eric3579 says...

Seems Eucalyptus trees are made to create firestorms..

Fallen eucalyptus leaves create dense carpets of flammable material, and the trees' bark peels off in long streamers that drop to the ground, providing additional fuel that draws ground fires up into the leaves, creating massive, fast-spreading "crown fires" in the upper story of eucalyptus forests.

Additionally, the eucalyptus oil that gives the trees their characteristic spicy fragrance is a flammable oil: This oil, combined with leaf litter and peeling bark during periods of dry, windy weather, can turn a small ground fire into a terrifying, explosive firestorm in a matter of minutes. That's why eucalyptus trees — especially the blue gums (Eucalyptus globulus) that are common throughout New South Wales — are sometimes referred to wryly as "gasoline trees."

Eucalyptus do extremely well after fires. Fire and Eucalyptus make good partners it seems. https://wildfiretoday.com/2014/03/03/eucalyptus-and-fire/

The GREATEST Tesla Easter Egg!

Gendered Marketing

Jinx says...

Ok. Women want to be perceived as soft (they do? - I'd be careful with that generalisation, your straying into damsel territory there) and feminine (Surprise! ...but what is feminine? - is it soft and pink or something else?). And who doesn't want to be seen as competent and why should it be seen as a masculine trait?

Wait, Let me guess the guys. Do most guys want to be perceived as..masculine...and...*insert positive gender role stereotype here!*.

Oh well, I was close I guess.

So liek. Yes. Your average guy or gal wants to fit into their associated gender role, or gender aesthetic if you like. But it seems to me there is sort of an element of carts before horses here. Are those gender aesthetics a preexisting difference between the sexes or is it an arbitrary divider created by our society through cynical marketing campaigns that have exploited our desire to "belong" to make more money?

Aside from that, what exactly makes a fragrance "tough" or "competent"? I've never thought to describe a smell as competent in all my life. It's all as arbitrary as pink for girls, blue for boys and...pens for women.

As ridiculous as some of this is, there are some valid reasons why products are gendered (at least in the standard hetero-normative fashion).

There are different aesthetics for genders. Most women do actually want to be perceived as soft and feminine and pretty, and most men do want to be perceived as tough and competent. Hence different fragrances in deodorant, for instance.

But pens for women are just ridiculous...

Your logic is flawed and your words stink of poisonous vomit !

lets keep this fight going ! <--- as in that is all this turned into is one big pissy man boy match Edit - not even that, just one person in particular who was side tracking and making personal attacks in comments again, see how you can enjoy the double standard like everyone else choggie ? You' re here still after your little freak out in the sift talk, or the stuff you wrote above or the other day, you can enjoy it like everyone else, but you sure like to flip the coin and berate it at the same time, although we all have learned you lack logic and reasoning skills. But that is just my opinion, I guess this is what comments this post are for hey ? pretty well the reason I am writing this now. write what you want time.

So to answer your only sensible question fuckinglittlethingoverthere - as you described it the first time I asked you what it meant. Baxter the bunny weights in at 2.76 pounds.. and just jumped on my lap. I have learned this is not for pets though, this is for treats. so I do not try and pet him because he just swats lightly very very quickly at my finger tips and actually kinda growls a little, which makes me laugh.

He is fully grown and if I were to cook him like a psycho would cook their pet, as you suggested he would be like eating a quarter of a small frying chicken ( NOte to self *do not put palm plant fronds near top of chair - rabbit climbs chair and eats palm leaf* )

Also I do not think video sift is what that orignal poster said it is.

War on Weed

I could be wrong on that I'm looking into it but "Cannabis is ranked one of the least harmful drugs by a study published in the UK medical journal, The Lancet" As shown in the following graph. You'll notice tobacco is significantly higher on the scale. Graph Here

[edit] ok there are about 100 chemical compounds in cannabis however most of them are responsible for the fragrance/aroma of the plant they're also naturally occurring and not additives. When I was talking about the chemicals in cigarettes I was mainly referring to additive chemicals and known poisons that are added in for supposed flavor, like ammonia and cyanide.

>> ^BoneRemake:

>> ^Auger8:
Cigarettes have something like 300 chemicals in them that's where the cancer causing agents come from not the tar, marijuana has like 3 THC, Chlorophyll(planet matter), and actually that's all I can think of so I guess it's just 2. Anyway I'd choose marijuana any day over something that has cyanide in it to give it flavor wouldn't you?

complete bullshit. Cannabis has hundreds of cannabinoids/chemicals in it.
