Lazarus The Chocolate Easter Bunny

Some guy engineers his own 9/11 experiments

I'm with imstellar28, this video is some guy presenting a hypothesis and testing it. NatGeo made a claim he believed was untruthful, and he wanted to prove it wrong. And he was successful.

He should have stuck with debunking NatGeo. He gets himself into trouble with all the "scientific" claims he makes that fall outside of his experiment and have no evidence.

20 seconds in he's claiming that the fires were "burning out and cooling down" after the plane hit. His cited evidence is verbal testimony from a Fox News helicopter.

At 55 seconds he lays the groundwork for the molten metal being steel. The evidence? "It looked like steel in a foundry."

He continues to cite eyewitnesses throughout the video; eyewitnesses who wouldn't know molten steel from boiling orange juice or magnesium flares from flash photography.

There's a reason eyewitness testimony is almost useless in science.

sigh Still going with the: Nobodys giving explanations, crap? Again, bullshit. Explanations are being given. You're just being an ignorant little prick.

The new NIST report does not mention the molten steel beneath the wreckage, witnessed during rescue operations by FDNY who referred to it as "like a foundry." That molten steel remained hot for six weeks.

Also important to note: there is a subset amongst the "troofers" who feel there is not enough information to accuse anyone...but at the same time they believe there are valid questions (like the above) for which there are no satisfactory answers. Yet.

Posting a video online does not constitute scientific research.

I am educated and I have a better than basic understanding of scientific principles (probably not as much as you, Mycroft) but I don't feel I'm qualified to perform scientific research myself. I'll leave that up to real scientists.
I'm gangbusters at my own trade so if you need some Technical Writing done, you could do worse than me.
Besides, that guy said "put up or shut up" so I was responding to that part. Way to change the argument.

When I said "put up or shut up" I meant that if you really honestly and truly believe that the government set up 9/11 and planned the murder of thousands of innocent civilians then you should start a damned revolution, march on the streets, because the people who are controlling your day-to-day lives are murderers. You pay taxes? Why? You're funding government-sponsored terrorism!! Quit your job, get in a shack and start fighting back.
But you won't do that because you either A) don't really believe what you are saying or B) too comfortable in your pathetic little life than to do anymore than whine like a baby on YouTube about how right you are despite thousands of documents proving otherwise because you are so damned vain and full of yourself that no one but yourself can possibly be right. Sure, everyone who is more educated, more experenced, was actually THERE, knows less than you MR. Anonymous Wanker On The Net with an abundance of grainy web video that disproves EVERYTHING EVER.
Shut up or run for office/start the revolution if you really believe the crap that's coming out of your sad, worthless excuse for a brain.

Crikey, someone needs a hug!

I think there's about a million steps between a) doing nothing and b) starting a revolution. I think I'll choose one of those million, dude, and if you want to call me names, that's perfectly OK. I'm a big boy now.

The post above that you did not read said that I don't know who's "behind this." I really don't. There's not enough evidence to say what really happened let alone who's "behind it." There may not be anyone behind it, like that movie "Cube."

So while it makes you feel better to claim we all hate the government and we should start a revolution instead of posting videos (how asinine is that logic by the way?) we're going to keep up the fight anyway. If that makes you uncomfortable, then you should find a way to handle it. I have faith in you, Turntable.

All we are saying is give peace a chance...no wait. All we're saying is that these are valid questions that deserve answers. And we didn't get this information from grainy video. We got it from interviews and testimonials.

The FDNY has said the WTC substructure was "like a foundry" filled with molten steel. How did it get there? How did that steel melt? That didn't appear on any video. Are the FDNY lying? See what I'm saying, Turntable?

I'd like to hear an answer, that's all.

I Have a Problem With Creationism

snoozedoctor says...

While it's quite apparent that creationism, in the fundamentalist's sense, is an untenable argument, there exists no compelling evidence that proves or disproves a God created universe. Hence, each is left to ponder their own uniqueness. How did supernova remnants and lighter elements end up driving a convertible, staring up at the night sky in wonder at their own foundry. Coalescence by gravity, organization by molecular bonding, and inevitable complex structure? Nothing proves it's inevitable. Nothing proves it's accidental. Embracing the science is awesome. Bending science to suit a myth, not so awesome.

"I Got Rhythm" - solo version by John Pizzarelli

choggie says...

Don't have to have perfect pitch to do that....Idetic memory of ones' instrument...you play so much you remember what its going to sound like beforehand. Lots of performers do this.... one was Slam Stewart, bassist who hummed the notes as he bowed.
Mose Allison, Charles Mingus,Rashaan Roland Kirk, Keith Jarrett, how bout' Joe Walsh and Peter Frampton, with their talky-thingy-dealies.....

Charlie Parker, it has been said, the way he hit the woodshed, was by learning "I Got Ryhthm" in every key, and becomming proficient in them, using that song.....once he got that down, well....he also used a Rico #5 reed, which if anyone has ever blown woodwinds, is next to impossible to get a squeak out of, unless yer embrochures' like a foundry press.

Pizzarelli has such a great voice, reminds of Chet Baker....
