I guess you're just lucky that wasn't Obama's move, or they would have released all their damming info about Trump and not implicated Clinton last minute, but somehow now that they're investigating Trump they're all deep state democrats (that threw an election to elect Trump).

I can't say I agree with Simon, but I certainly don't agrfee with Ebert, Siskel, or (sorry) bluecliff. Star Wars was pretty crappy when it first came out, in every way but special effects, and none of the subsequent episodes got any better. A trite, cliched story combined with wooden acting and moronic, stilted dialog don't make for a good time, in my opinion.

The shameless flipflopping and revisionist history Lucas presented over the years since then pretty well sealed my distaste. First, it had nothing to do with Campbell's Hero's Journey (my guess is that he had no idea who Campbell was at that time), then later, when Campbell became such a fad, well of -course- it was inspired by the Hero's Journey all along. Even Hollywood types should be able to provide a better fake sincerity than Lucas.

So after watching, I thought this was stupid, that it was only something that people with money to waste would buy - but I had completely forgotten this technology's appeal to the handicapped. People with missing or functionally impaired arms, hands or fingers could use this to have a nice tight shoe simply and independently. As of right now, I have no idea what kind of footwear I'd use if I could no longer tie laces. Flipflops aren't exactly safe nor are they socially acceptable everywhere. *promote

RT if you're ever going to get as good at spin as FOX your 'experts' not only need to support the ethos you're pushing, but they need to be so in favor of it, they make the anchors look neutral in comparison. And when you show clips that supposedly support your position that don't actually support it one way or the other, your lead in needs to be much stronger so as to cue the audience more to your way of thinking.

Seriously, they show a clip that supposedly shows a massive flipflop in the story and the biggest change is them saying the wife was used as a shield, to she charged the SEALs. Frankly that clears up how she shielded him and her willingness. Secondly all the expert can say is it was illegal if he surrendered and they shot him anyways and that you can only speculate whether that happened or not, but we have no idea.

People treat this like it was the police showing up for some domestic abuse squabble, and they shot the guy for being angry. This was a man who headed an organization responsible for thousands of people's death. Who specifically targeted civilians, and used his own people as living bombs. And no that's not an emotional plea saying he's a bad man and deserved to die. It's a listing of factual behaviors showing the man is very capable of and willing to use lethal force. Its a matter of risk assessment for the SEALs; how much latitude do you give someone before deciding the potential for them to kill you is too great? With a man that had a history like Bin Laden I'm going to say probably not a lot.

And it won't end anytime soon, either. One of the biggest talking points the conservatives are using, and reasons for doing what they've been doing even if they have to flipflop on their own positions, is that Obama has failed as a president because he can't get anything passed. As though the self-same people purposely obstructing him has nothing to do with that. As Maddow had stated on one of her last shows, nearly any pretense of doing what was good for America has gone out the window in favor of political expedience, all in favor of giving them their best chance in 2012 by replacing a "Do-nothing president", as the conservative talk shows have taken to labeling him.

like it or not, both candidates will flipflop faster than you can blink if it gains votes. this man will not change his stance for 72 virgins and all the money in the world. he believes in the wonderful words that make up the constitution, minus the 16th amendment.
