Birds Aren’t Real On Fox News

luxintenebris jokingly says...

Am neutral on this issue of robotic crows & such -but someone mentioned starlings.

Starlings are not natural.

1) The iridescent color is an illusion
2) They can and have spoken in English & other tongues
3) A pair raised a brood in a tree next to the house & rarely made noise

None of this is normal bird behavior.

1) am told their plumage (notably the ' iridescence') has no true pigment but the structure of their feathers. Could be that it's a cloaking device since we don't always see them around.

2) if they can speak in captivity, they must while in the flock, if only to keep their English (et al) sharp. it's proof that they hear and understand us. handy for data gathering.

3) Since the pair near us have raised littles & they only 'buzz' when ma or pa show up with Grub Hub - it suggests they are covert creatures. a trait common in spies. [also, mysteriously two of the house cats have gone missing just before they moved in.]

not saying ALL birds are bots - but if there is a place to start an investigation - Starlings are the best bet.

How do we know that they weren't behind this obvious attempt at propaganda. as if falling in love is akin to being in a murmuration...

Biden Smiden - investigate Starlings.

You mean because I denounce things like this that you ignore and deny even when the Republican groomers themselves admit them?

"“Stop the Steal” rally organizer Ali Alexander admitted to sending “inappropriate messages” as MANY young men are going on the record to accuse him of asking them for nudes while they were minors, receiving nudes from YOUNG underaged boys, and replying to them with heart eye emojis.

Once he told a 15 year old boy he would introduce him to Republican political figures on a trip if he agreed to secrecy about the trip, agreed to be “arm candy”, and to be “entertaining” for Alexander on the trip….after directly asking for and receiving nudes from the 15 year old so there’s no ambiguity about what he meant.

This behavior was known about in upper echelon Republican circles as early as 2015 but ignored until Yianopoulos made it public out of spite.

What is it about Trump that his closest friends keep turning out to be child mollesters? Ever hear the expression “birds of a feather flock together”? Because Trump’s flock sure likes underaged birds, mate.

Every accusation an admission. Every disgusting defamation a mea culpa. Absolutely nothing enough for you to admit you are in a pedophilic terroristic death cult.

Beto O’Rourke “It May Be Funny To You, Mother F*#ker”

luxintenebris says...

possible the putz was being pedantic. 'heh heh 500ft heh heh'
kvetching about the details is missing the point; the gun was meant for combat - not killing school children. his knowledge of the weapon was adequate.

as an example: beto didn't know the guy's actual name - but he called him what everyone else would. i.e. close enough

but the people w/abbott signs? what is so powerful about protesting a peaceful meeting? wouldn't sitting, listening, and asking tough questions make more of an impression than holding up signs that people read as: "oh, lord. a dimwit."

in short: beto took the feathers out of that peacock.

Sen. Whitehouse Questions FBI on Kavanaugh Background

Aaaaahahahahaha!! Trump is threatening to sue CNN for saying he’s a big liar spreading his big lie. His claim….it’s his “belief”, so when he says it he’s not lying…not that it’s true, not that he can prove it, just that he believes the lie and that magically makes it not a lie.
He will never sue because 1) he has no case at all 2) he’s terrified of discovery and they would gain access to all the Jan 6 documentation he’s hidden from the committee, and 3) it’s a slapp lawsuit, which he would lose badly and be forced to pay millions in restitution and punitive damages for a frivolous lawsuit designed to silence critics….to anyone he sues.

Derp! What a sad, powerless little bully, enraged that no one takes his threats seriously anymore.

Also, his Saudi Arabia PR golf tournament is losing him so much Republican support. The FBI has said definitively that the Saudi government was directly involved in 9/11…not just the 15/19 terrorists being Saudis, but Saudi intelligence agents supplied them with funding, lodging, and “travel assistance”.
Trump was well aware of this, but chose to keep it secret to protect the crown prince and billions in arms sales. Biden declassified this information and stopped protecting those that attacked America.
Birds of a feather….no wonder Trump likes the terroristic draconian Saudis. I wonder how 9/11 Rudy feels about it.

Side note, the sedition caucus voted against helping victims of human trafficking. Their press conference celebrating protecting perpetrators of human trafficking was disrupted when Gaetz was asked if he’s a pedophile and instead of answering “no” he and the rest literally ran away in fear.

Second side note- Republican senator Mike Braun has said the quiet part out loud and proclaimed the right’s next move is to make interracial marriage a state right, not federally guaranteed, so states whose legislature is controlled by Republicans who are against it can ban it, just like abortion. I’m sure you won’t admit you see that as racist, but everyone else does.
Next comes voting rights for non whites and women, they need to be barefoot in the field, or barefoot, pregnant, and always silent and submissive anyway, right?

what if the 't' social site ̶r̶o̶l̶l̶ stumble out was dolt 45's doing? having all the red hats make it look like a real going - but they ended up crashing the servers themselves?

also s.o.p. regarding the logo. likely don jr. (or ilk) scrolled for 't' logos and ended up w/an active company's logo. someone gets paid to bilk the organization.*

'hit me w/a feather' forecast: the site goes down and money goes missing. wonder what vegas odds are on this?

just the idea that a notorious liar throws up a site labeled 'truth' makes one think of this famous phrase...

New Rule: Words Matter | Real Time with Bill Maher (HBO)

bcglorf says...

@newtboy,

One of Mayers examples is calling out headlines about SAT's being inherently racist as false. Isn't that something you've told me you felt strongly about? I know we had discussion on including race in college admissions, and you against a race/color blind admission process as that was too pro-white. Seems it's not wrong on at least that point to say Maher's ruffling feathers with the left?

Bulldog Has Incredible Reaction To Actress In Trouble

noims says...

My guess is that the value of a few calories would depend on whether the dinosaurs were warm- or cold-blooded. A cold-blooded lizard or snake can last a lot longer on a small meal than a warm-blooded human.

The debate on whether or not actual dinosaurs were cold-blooded is still open, as far as I know. My favourite point in the argument is that all dinosaurs alive today (i.e. birds) are warm-blooded but perhaps it was exactly that adaptation that let them survive through the mas extinction.

Looking at the predatory dinosaurs in the film, there's no hint of feathers (so they're unlikely to be actual t-rexes), which to me points towards the idea that they're cold-blooded and so a small morsel would sustain them a while.

As for three of them getting involved, to me they're also being opportunistic at the chance of getting Kong. He seemed comfortable enough handling one, but it was definitely not a given. He acted very wary of two of them, so a third joining should really swing things in the dinosaurs' favour. However, it looks like Kong was holding back, and really let things fly when the odds were against him.

How Road Barriers Stopped Killing Drivers

luxintenebris says...

in Saudi they leave wreaks on the side of the road. or use to.

joking, yes...but just seeing a junkyard along particular bad stretches of the road might 'brighten' drivers? nothing like the feathers of death's wings stroking the forehead to induce serious contemplation.

spawnflagger said:

I just had an idea - instead of storing crashed cars in junkyards, use them as highway dividers. They are already tested for head-on collisions, and when someone crashes into it, can just leave the freshly-crashed car there as more filler (drain the fluids).

GOP Try to Rewrite the History of the Jan 6th Insurrection

luxintenebris jokingly says...

darn.

got up in tar 'n' feathering T-hick T-ony, overlooked commenting on the T-ourist T-errorism.

watched the insurgency, on tv, as it unfolded. reports from inside the capitol, immediately, revealed its direness. on the steps, it was turning into a melee. truly never thought, "wow! that's some run on the gift shop!"

the only misconception was thinking that the miscreants would be taken to task by capitol security. truth be told, wanted not only to watch mr. custard's last stand but also the stupid get broken.

damn shame.

at least we get to play "spot the loony"...

How Trump Fleeced His Own Supporters

luxintenebris jokingly says...

in private, would have put money on 33 not responding to this vid. too real to rationalize away.

too many examples of the former president's criminality - that 'they' ignore(d). nor the security risks he legitimately posed (catch a malcom nance vid sometime). w/o doubt many never actually read any intelligence report(s) on him [mueller].

what is notable is the birds of feather data. farwell, gaetz, the plethora of former cabinet members...all untrustworthy, if not outright hoods.

it's all out in the open; crystal clear; obvious to the most casual observer - but as twain said..."The glory which is built upon a lie soon becomes a most unpleasant incumbrance. … How easy it is to make people believe a lie, and how hard it is to undo that work again."

if anything, having suffered through the Orange Reign, that is being proven to be an almost GOD-given truth. maybe chisel that on stone. put an addendum to the ten already listed. epoxy that slab of rock to the local 10 commandments monument.

tho' the line about "No other god before ME" should have covered that. " bearing false witness" works too. come to think of it, Dolt 45 doesn't hold up well against the 7 deadly sins list either.
