A Clown Takes A Pratfall-Wait For It

robbersdog49 says...

Very satisfying to see the twat fall over, but to be honest I'd happily see the dickhead on the bike fall off too.

The original incident was the car's fault, passing too close. The bike had every right to be there and wasn't doing anything wrong. But he went looking for trouble. If it's an offence, report it. He went after the other guy and deliberately wound him up.

Neither party comes out of this smelling of roses...

Stunt Doesn't Go As Planned - Or Does it?

RFlagg says...

The guy falls off the hood and gets ran over, and the driver doesn't even check on the guy. I can't tell what exactly he is doing, but he doesn't seem concerned over the fact he ran over the guy. Nor do we see any staff running to the rescue...

unfortunately the liveleak videos of them falling off cranes aren't nearly as popular as the youtube ones of it going well. Both exist, though.

MOTHERFUCKER!

AAAAAAAaaaaaaAAAAAAAaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAA!

Son of a bitch... that gave me butterflies in my scrotum.

Of course some of these morons are going to kill themselves. And just like idiots who pretend to get run over by a car then really get run over by a car, I just don't feel bad for them.

BB-8 droid from The Force Awakens Rolls out on stage

I agree that the inside of the ball probably resembles a weighted arm with servo-driven rollers that can move the ball around on one end (likely the bottom) and an articulated arm on the other that has magnets that keep the head from falling off and can move it around on the ball. The head itself could be largely passive, with no ability to "move" itself.

It would appear to me that the "head" is sitting on the body, not needing to be connected physically at all. Keeping in mind it is also remote controlled, I'm sure it has a "segway" type gyroscope/computer system to keep it from falling off, but the independent ability from the operator to spin it, or move it around on top of the body. And indeed the interior of the body would have it's own little wheeled robot, just like a hamster ball. That's my 2 cents.

Squirrel has a little too much

moonsammy says...

We had a squirrel behave a bit like this in our yard a few years ago. It kept trying and failing to climb a tree, couldn't get more than a foot off the ground without falling off backwards. We happened to know someone who volunteers at a local wildlife rescue center, so I put on some thick gloves and grabbed it in a nice soft towel, then put it in a cat carrier. A few days later we heard back that it had made a full recovery, and they suspected it was drunk. Turns out that when doing some home renovation my father in law had moved our compost bin slightly, but not all of the compost that it was covering. We assume the squirrel got into some old fruit that had fermented and got good and tore up.

Shoe-related activities are always enjoyable, but remember that if you don't wear a sock your shoe may give you blisters that will stay with you the rest of your life or even make your foot fall off.

I was on the Allure of the Sea a few months ago. It is a pretty damn big boat.

I don't think it was a wave that got him, but rather the wave that probably caused him to lose his balance. There are plenty of places to get near the ocean on that boat, but very few that would put you in any danger of getting directly hit by a wave, much less falling off accidentally. I think there was some effort on his part to make this happen, like leaning way over a railing to see something, or possibly being somewhere that he wasn't supposed to.

I just want to see the video of the guy being swept off. I understand the Oasis of the Seas to be a pretty big boat. How big was the wave that got him?

Guy on drugs jumps 2 stories to concrete---and walks it off

Khufu says...

Actually, if you look closely at his rate of descent... he doesn't freefall. He's holding on to something that slows his fall, then he just falls off at the end. Maybe some netting/rope/cable?
