Project Camelot Interviews David Icke

Sagemind says...

http://www.projectcamelot.org/
"the purpose is to provide a vehicle for researchers and whistleblowers to get their stories out. Our focus is an investigation into (but is not limited to) the following: extraterrestrial visitation and contact, time travel, mind control, classified advanced technology, free energy, possible coming earth changes, and revealing plans that exist to control the human race."

Interesting stuff - by "dry"..., very dry presentation.

How to show that horoscopes are bunk - Neil deGrasse Tyson

MINK says...

thanks spoco

but there's a difference between debunking charlatans and proving that all people who "feel something" are talking bollocks.

even if i took the test and failed, it wouldn't convince me 100%, it would just be dissuasive and show me that i personally don't have the "power".

i mean, i can't run 100m in under 10 seconds but some people can.

but i know it's like the old excuse "if just one UFO sighting is really extraterrestrial, then aliens exist". logically true but it just means "i am really unlikely to be right".

NASA to Announce Life On Mars @ 2PM EST?? (Science Talk Post)

EDD says...

Thank you so very much, volumptuous.

For Mars to have actual microorganisms is the best birthday present I could EVER have hoped for, let alone it actually turning out to be the truth, which it seems it will. Yup, today's my birthday.

I was SURE extraterrestrial life would be found in my lifetime, just not this soon. I am overjoyed. So much so, in fact, that I sifted it:

Fermi Paradox and Keanu Reeves (Blog Entry by dag)

NordlichReiter says...

If we live in the 3rd dimension, and cannot see beings in the upper dimensions. How are we to know if there are, in the quantum sense beings.

Most of all aliens, selfishly, are portrayed alike to humans. This personification is a manifestation of our ego centric evolution.

Bluntly, there may be a universe where the possibility that a human like extraterrestrial being made contact. There may be a universe where the being made contact, and that contact was unbeknown to main stream consensus.

There is even a possibility, of impossibility.

When human kind attains this knowledge, then they will have attained a very high level of existence, where things really don't matter much.

Anecdote:

I had a chat with some one about morals, meaning and purpose. It was something like this:

me: "Nothing really matters, there is nothing to die for. Nothing to fear, nothing to live for. But to just live."
Them:"If there is nothing to live for or believe in then you should just shoot yourself now, and get it over with."
me: "That is petty, and very admirable human emotion. What does it take just to exist? Nothing, there is nothing to worry about."

People freak out at the notion that some one next to them does not give a care about any thing. That's not the case, because being human means you are as fallible as the rest of the lot. I still worry about shit.

Well, extraterrestrials are quite real. The, ah, "source" for this information claims that the universe really does look as diverse as the cantina in Star Wars.

My argument with the "source" was if the alien technology was so advanced, why dissect cows? Can't they download all that information? The answer was that aliens are devoid of and do not understand human emotions.

Supposedly the main alien groups are the "grays" (the generic Area 51 midgets) and the "reptoids". What they want is either too complex or ridiculous to imagine, and as there is no solid proof for any of it, the skeptics must rule.

After hearing all this, I was madder that the ET retards have anti-gravity tech and dimensional warp drives while we with our "love" can only make lame hoverboards with leaf blower engines.

Unusual translucent UFO above Tallahassee, Florida

Share your UFO Experiences with us, or get an inside look at THE ROSWELL EXHIBIT on our ROSWELL BLOG! http://thebroganmuseum.wordpress.com

The Brogan Museum poses the question, “Do You Believe?”

In a society overrun with extraterrestrial movies, novels, and video games, have UFO sightings only become fodder for science fiction, or is there any basis of truth in sightings or experiences with the extraterrestrial?

The Brogan Museum, in association with Origins Museum Institute, delves into the mystery of one of the most controversial and highly publicized claims of a UFO crash with the opening of THE ROSWELL EXHIBIT.
THE ROSWELL EXHIBIT lands in Tallahassee on Saturday, August 30, 2008 and will take off Thursday, January 8, 2009.

NASA Astronaut Claims Aliens Exist

8727 says...

'He said that he has been briefed BY the government on more than one occasion as to the fact that the UFO phenomenon is real, that we (presumably the government) are in contact with extraterrestrials.'

This is the only thing about this that does make me wonder. At a guess either he's lying, or he exaggerating insanely, that they briefed him but not that UFOs are real - just that he shouldn't go around saying crazy sounding stuff as it makes them look bad.

I've seen two strange looking lights in the sky in my life, i think it would be a bit nuts to think they were aliens though (because there's never been any evidence that they exist).
- Also, the enormous scale of the universe and the unlikelihood of evolution reaching our point is so massive that i doubt anyone would have had time to reach us from such large distances ( and the light from here wouldn't have reached them yet either..)
I'm not doubting it fully, just 98%, this guy is a bit nuts so he's not a reliable source for this info. Telepathy indeed *rolls eyes* ...

If extra-terrestrials contacted us, what would we say?

Trancecoach says...

So, SETI is a few blocks away from me and I stopped by there a couple years ago. Walked in and Ms. Tartar was sitting there in the empty lobby, waiting for people to arrive. Turns out the Jodie Foster character in the movie Contact was loosely based on her and her work. Interesting to talk with her -- even though I don't think we're receiving any extraterrestrial communication any time soon.

UFO: Enemy Unknown ( X-COM ) - intro movie

Fletch says...

I've got UFO:Extraterrestrials. IMHO, it's way better than any X-Com game since TFTD. It's got some quirks, but there is an a mod out there called "Bman's UFO Ease of Use Mod" that makes the game play very nicely and very close to the two originals. I still fire up EU and TFTD on occasion. There is a Win95 fix out there that makes them playable on today's systems. Great games.
