Darn it, I was sure the longer one had the spider (or whatever the little black bug is that kills the snake).

When I saw the original on liveleak it was a few seconds longer and titled something like spider kills snake... and I couldn't find the original when I went looking

In the dubstep version you only get a very brief view of the little black critter scuttling off to exit stage left, but he's more obvious in the longer ones.

It's dying. I couldn't find the original, but you get to see more of the culprit in this version (you do get to see him exiting stage left in this shorter dubstep clip, but it's not clear he's responsible for the snake's demise).

I thank VideoSift for keeping me up to date with important pop-culture milestones like dubstep and Miley Cyrus twerking at the MTV awards show (things I never would have seen otherwise).

In the last few years I found myself constantly wondering how long ago certain things happened. It still blows my mind that Jurassic Park is 20 fucking years old now. I still clearly remember watching in the theater. Or buying the VHS tape. I'm getting old.
Funny thing is, I'm more "with it" than quite a few younger people I know. I'm always puzzled when people in their early 20s don't know who Miley Cyrus is or what dubstep sounds like. One time a colleague from work came to me telling me excitedly about Harlem Shake videos and all I could think was "this is soo yesterday and over, get with the times man". How can they not know this? I do.
Maybe I'm bound to be a hip old man. Weird.

Ok-If you look closely, there's a black unit sticking-out from the right side of the back of the unconnected mixer-Looks like he's got that un-plugged mixer blocking the one he's using. I think yer right.

Oh and, DJ's react to the music while they tweak it....it's part of their cult-of-personality thingy tied into the whole performance aspect of making 'new' music. Dubstep DJ's for example, consider themselves artists and performers. They usually have egos large enough so that they don't have to wait for fans or critiques to suggest or ascertain this either....lotta douchebag in the DJ industry.
