Nice try….but for Ford that exposure to the elements exclusion is limited to cosmetic damage to paint trim and interior, not the drive train parts like a Tesla…and didn’t include light.
And notice “uneven, rough, damaged, or hazardous surfaces, unfinished roads, (read as any dirt road regardless of condition) , or any purpose for which the vehicle was not designed” (which is anywhere off pavement or parked outside or any truck activity in teslas) are NOT listed as not covered in the Ford warranty, only intentional misuse or abuse.

The part you mentioned about not covering you driving through a car wash is spelled out to mean if you hit something…”accidents collisions or objects striking the vehicle ( including driving through a car wash)”, not about it getting wet…the Tesla voids the entire car if you don’t go into car wash mode to wash it and if you use any pressurized water, or get any water through the bad “seals”, or don’t immediately dry it.

Maybe so about the parts ordering, I can’t find that, still wouldn’t sit well with me that my car could order it’s own parts in my name…and I would expect abuse, especially considering the company owner.

I don’t have one to read the warranty directly, but not covering any damages incurred off the pavement even on flat level dirt roads or driveways is not normal for a truck, especially a 4x4. Fords come with an off road package and do not exclude damages/failures that happen on maintained dirt roads or flat level grass (maybe excluding potholes)…and they don’t get stuck on either!

I feel I can safely say no other truck voids the warranty for “exposure to sunlight, wind, or water”, listed on the “warranty”.

Tesla is well known for covering nothing off dry pavement including damage from puddles or mud (neither of which should damage a truck, and don’t damage Fords).

I just had a realization….there are now 5000 households from Palisades alone that are “homeless” (except those with second houses) and sounds like another 5000 around LA.
It’s a good bet these are mostly the same people who consistently voted against low income housing in LA, definitely NIMBY. They now find themselves competing for the few available rental properties.
In the short term that’s karmic. In the long term, I wonder what it means for their homeless population and wonder if we can expect an exodus since services and opportunities are about to dry up.

On a side note, thousands of animals are now homeless, lost, hurt, or in need of supplies in LA. If you can donate directly to a local rescue, do it. Don’t donate to national charities that spend 98% on advertising and administration costs, donate directly to rescue organizations that spend donations on animals.

Notice he calmly holds onto the “grenade” for 3 full seconds before tossing it just feet away. No sane person would do that with a real live grenade that has a 4-5.5 second fuse and a fatality radius of 5 meters. Markets are somewhat stagnant (but still rising at 5%+- a year) for two reasons…1) the purely Republican caused banking failures caused by Republican forced through deregulation toon in 2018 leading to exactly what the regulations were designed to prevent and 2) the Republican blackmail of the economy using the debt ceiling that daily costs more as investments and international partnerships dry up because no one wants to be tied to a nation that won’t pay its bills…or that threatens to not pay its bills over partisan blackmail schemes.

If they were paid little and/or forced to work long shifts so they're facing this while tired enough not to think/care, then I blame the company and, by association, the system. If they were well trained and had no genuine excuse (rather than reason) for their behaviour then I blame them.

The reality probably isn't as cut-and-dried as I present it above, but there's definitely a spectrum of blame to be considered.

1 small point of correction - the workers are on break between 10am-3pm in the summer, which is when you see those >50C temperatures. They worked all through the night, and you can't pour concrete in the day because it's too hot and dries too quickly.
An exceptional (i.e. not the norm) construction company was one that paid it's workers what was promised, and on time. All local companies had to be 51% owned by Qataris, not sure if that changed as part of their 2018 reforms.

They are not supposed to just be a propaganda department for the whitehouse.
