Sleepy dog unfazed after falling off couch

John Lewis Christmas Advert 2016 - #BusterTheBoxer

I love this but why are they so dumbfounded about the dog on the trampoline? Timing was perfect on all the shots but if my dog immediately started jumping on a trampoline I would be like, "Coooooooooooool -- doggy!" Then I'd be jumping along with him. Like immediately.

Now, I know it's not the same grounded story arc, but what if she walks outside and all the animals are still jumping about and there's a queue of additional animals leading out of the backyard into an enchanted forest? That would dumbfound me.

But it wouldn't be about the dog, so I guess it doesn't work.

But maybe he rushes past the other animals, knocking them over like dominoes, then rambunctiously jumps around the trampoline like a buffoon tossing around the critters who were once jumping in coordination. Now pan out: "Gifts that everyone will love"

Only reason to upvote is for the comments pointing out the failures of the parent/animal owner.

But I won't. I don't like this

I should say that it appears the camera operator knew what was coming. That is why I don't like this. If it honestly was a doggy moment... well, I don't know enough about dogs and kids to know if there should have been intervention as soon as the dog loomed.

Dogs Flying An Airplane

Ashenkase says...

So, I don't want to take anything away from these dogs. They are smart, extremely trainable and handle adverse environments with ease. Kudos to them for this "feat" of outer worldly doggie duties.

But lets not kid ourselves here, the dogs are NOT flying the plane. The yoke is locked and they are simply pushing down left or down right to "steer" the plain. Impressive for the likes of dog... but not flying.

Flying involves so much more than tilting the yoke. Way finding, fuel/weight calculations, the ability to take off and land, stall evasion, emergency outs, the ability to understand weather forecasts and weather patterns, etc, etc, etc.

If the pilot unlocked the yoke those dogs would have nose dived into some English ninnies garden in less time than it would have taken them to eat a treat.

Up voting for the dogs... down voting for the schmaltzy human commentary.

I am so happy you thought of me and said hello. I was thinking of you, too.

I lost my little doggie, Tess, about two weeks ago, and it really sucked the wind out of my sails. She started breathing funny on Wednesday, and she was dead Thursday night. I had to shoot her, because I couldn't stand to watch her suffer. I'll always second guess myself on that, but she was breathing so hard her tongue was turning blue...as if I could have hugged her back to life.

When I pulled the trigger...I realized in the coldest measure of reality...that a chapter of my life had come to an end.

Twelve years, that little shit followed me through thick and thin and I never thought much about it. I loved her, of course, but...now that she's gone...a part of me has died as well.

I'm a bad Buddhist, I guess...this is all chapter and verse....

On the global field, I feel like we have met, or are approaching, the end of an epoch. Out with the olde, in with the new. Kind of hoping it's not WW-III and all...but I can sense a significant change in the works.

I hope you are well, too, and happy, genuinely happy.

This shot of tequila is for you. May you laugh and smile for no reason at all, soon, and for days on end.

Okay, super dodgy rough translation from my phone app goes something like this ...

"Real managed to take shots in the Moscow Yacht Club Pirogovo video is for you a fan of the sport, I can see an unusual member of one of the teams dinghy, his name our group was able to find the owner of the dog, and as you might guess it turned out to be the captain of the yacht.

If you believe the captain of his dog helps him in all phases of voyage can take the mooring lines or sail. Can hold a course and knows maritime terminology better than experienced sailor. Helps open boat turns but it's not all, dog can perform complex sports stunt trapeze from the line. Great respect for the other members of the club. This dog is in fact proven that can be floating."
