That's exactly what happened.

Voter fraud is after the fact.

Voter fraud is much more difficult to commit than election fraud.

Election fraud is what the cons have turned into an art form, for example:

1) Diebold miscounting votes
2) Using felon lists from Texas to purge voters in Florida (2000)
3) Under-supplying Democratic neighborhoods with too few election booths, which they did in Ohio and Denver.

This report is a bit underwhelming. A while back (around 2005-'06, if memory serves), Diebold flooded several parts of the country with voting machines that technology experts knew to be seriously flawed. They went on to declare black is white in stating that their equipment was completely safe when it was disgustingly easy to hack and was very poorly designed, and threw large sums at money at lawsuits blocking any attempt to get a look at the source code or provide any independent review.

Eventually people started to catch on and the public started to distrust Diebold, but all they had to do was change their name to Premier Election Solutions and lay low for a bit. Now they're up to the same tricks again, selling bad technology to politicians who could not care less about the underlying technical details. Here in this video we see that two million dollars of taxpayer money has been wasted on proving something that has been widely realized for years. There has got to be a better way of getting the message out.

Just to clarify for the record, Ohio was 75% PUNCHCARDS in 2004.
Though a lot of methods were used to steal votes or cause long lines, primarily punch card substitution, precinct rotation and sending voters to the wrong punch card template.

And there are ways to employ people to be a part of conspiracy without them every knowing it, just as the military often has projects compartmentalized so that 100 people can be working on a project, but none of them really know what that project is.

Also, any programmer can tell you that it would be a piece of cake to rig an election as long as you didn't let anybody see your source code, which is what Diebold did.

That's what the GOP wants everyone to think.

That makes Diebolds 'real' job all the easier to pull off.

Diebold manufactures some of the worlds most efficient, accurate, and accountable banking machines.. yet they haven't quite figured out how to make an efficient, accurate AND accountable voting machines.

The difference? One is deals with money. The other deals with your vote.

Someone should get hufington post on this or another netroots group to put together a comprehensive rebuke to all these blatant lies.

I also dont think this alone will get mccain in the WH, ittl be the diebold machines, the cutting of power to black / poverty stricken area's, the lost voting machines, the dropped counts etc. etc. that will get him in.

Well the first thing is to educate people. As JFK stated: "Its preparations are concealed, not published. Its mistakes are buried, not headlined. Its dissenters are silenced, not praised. No expenditure is questioned, no rumor is printed, no secret is revealed."

Next we need to fix our voting system.. it's a mess.. it's rigged all to easily. The main problem is the people that are duped into believing they must win for their party no matter what.. all the while thier party (dems and reps) is a part of this shadow govt.'s scheme. There were so many CFR candidates running in the 2008 election i was shocked.... and the only 3 that were not of CFR were slammed hard by the mainstream media and knocked out of the race. At the very least I think a fair election would be Ron Paul vs. Kucinich using paper ballots or that new system which records the vote in 3 different ways (which was rejected in favor of the Diebold and ES&S types of systems that are prone to being rigged).
