DeLorean Legacy - The Blessing From The Legend.

noims says...

I considered buying a DeLorean once but I decided it wasn't worth it. I knew I'd only drive it from time to time.

Why SpaceX Built A Stainless Steel Starship

Payback says...

You built a space shuttle?

...out of a DeLorean?

Mordhaus said:

Thanks to the stainless steel construction, flux dispersal is generated at an optimum level from the Flux Capacitor, providing the entire vehicle and its passengers a smooth passage through the space-time continuum during temporal displacement.

Back to the Future 4 - Trailer #1 (2018) (Fan Made)

ChaosEngine says...

The only thing that didn't really work was the musical segue from Huey Lewis(?) to the BTTF theme. It felt clumsy, which was a shame because the drifting delorean worked really well with it.

Other than that, it was exceptionally well put together.

I think an interesting plot line for an actual BTTF 4 would be to show that Marty & Doc somehow affected the course of technology and disrupted the invention of cold fusion, hoverboards, etc

It was so futuristic when I was young. I'm so jealous of Jay now. Yes, Lamborghini and DeLorean were definitely inspired from it's design. It still looks modern to me.

Thanks If I'd ever heard of it, I'd since forgotten. It REALLY doesn't look like a Mercedes, does it? It does look a bit like a Lamborghini Countach, or the car from the film Condorman

p.s. Looking at the original 1974 Countach, it seems that Lamborghini copied drew inspiration from the Mercedes prototype.

This is awesome. There's another group doing something semi-similar with Deloreans. Only in that they're making a real business out of transforming old, existing objects into modern, products. Right up my alley though.

Merry Christmas / Happy Holidays to ALL. (Happy Talk Post)

X-MEN: DAYS OF BACK TO THE FUTURE PAST

Sagemind says...

And how is it, everyone can come up with a DeLorean for these sketches? Aren't these things rare and expensive?

"Only 6,000 cars came off the assembly line at the DeLorean Motor Company factory in 1981, nearly 2,000 each year in 1982 and 1983. Sales were strong for the 1981 models, but sales dwindled in early 1982 and cars were stockpiled until DeLorean Motor Company went out of business later that year."

Neil deGrasse Tyson Explains How Gravity Affects Time

Trancecoach jokingly says...

This is why the Delorean needs to reach 88 MPH in order to engage the flux capacitor and send Marty back in time. It is the minimum speed needed to temporarily lift the pressure imposed on the spacetime continuum that keeps us affixed to the surface of the Earth at the bottom of this 4,000-mile-deep gravity well in which we are all living*.
