Shows up fine for me too. Hmmm, maybe a CSS/browser issue?

Only us computer *Geeks will find this as interesting as it is.
I'm looking at the two fish on the cover of my CSS Pocket Reference as I type this.

chrome's up to date. the text is there, because if i copy paste into something else i can see it. maybe it's a css thing. in any case i'm not that bothered, just thought i'd point it out.

A website which features more xhtml, css and javascripting than content.
That site annoyed the hell out of me. (awe look, now there's hell all over the floor - who's going to clean that up?)

Looks like it really is just you, sorry to say. The way you described it, it sounds like it's just the CSS that your browser is ignoring.

One thought is maybe you accidentally changed your browser to use No Style instead of Basic Page Style under View < Page Style.

Like i said I did turn off my ad blockers and even disabled all of my addons after the install. idk what the deal is but for now im dealing with ads and using chrome. If you're not having any problems, and no one else i know is it must just be me but idk what the deal is. I havnt installed anything new. hmmm *scratches head*

Have you tried disabling any ad blocking software you might have running? Do you have javascript disabled?

Can you install Firebug and see if it's reporting any errors?

Can you take a screenshot so I can see what you're seeing? Sounds like an issue on your computer. I've been using the site on several computers (and phones) today and haven't had any issues. When did your problems start?

I'm having a lot of problems surfing the site with Firefox specifically. I turned off all addons and reinstalled and still they persist.

Problems include:
Lack of formating (everything right aligned and not layed out on page and no background just white)
Unable to see comments - When i click on comments it takes me to comment box but i still cant see them.
Sift lounge not working.

I also reinstalled Flash and Java just incase that was the issue. But if i switch browsers (on Chrome now but I also tried on IE) everything is fine.

Just heads up, idk what the deal is.

Write a python script to produce the html pages, based on the contents of a directory full of images.

Re-run the python script when you add a new batch of images.

No server-hosted code.

If you want fancy rendering, try jQuery, it runs in the client.

Was that Stephen Merchant?!? I thought this was a gag video at first with quotes from The Ricky Gervais show added.

yep it is and I think it really ruins the game for English people maby if they had applied some auto-tune / filters to it so it didn't just sound like Steve merchant doing a voice over through 60% of the game then it would have been ok.
I think they were looking for a "generic" English type person john clease typ thing and steve was the only one they could find lol.
I think most people will enjoy portal and think its utterly amazing. It is better than allot of games and is pretty polished , but at the same time i think it feels really dulled down as a game and although some of the puzzles and the mechanics available are really good , it missed allot of puzzles that would just be "fun" to do and certainly lacks puzzles that allow for th player to compleat them in multiple ways or in creative ways.
I think it suffers a tiny bit from consolitus ( no where near as bad as most games nowerdays)
What i don't understand as well is why the pc multipler is not set up in the same way as the CSS surf maps worked , where u could join into a server and play custom maps with a bunch of people that would be Realy good. i guess they wanted to do a split screen typ coop for console users.
im sure sum-one will mod it and it will evolve from there so that will be interesting to see

Didn't ruin it for me (an English person) becuase Wheatley is supposed to be a moron. Perfect voice for such a purpose.
