This is entirely inaccurate. It isn't pants, it's crossbows.

As I think more about it, the Red Wedding probably is in season 2, episode 6 or 7 I'd say. That gives them enough time for Theon to do his thing. The choking death could also happen at the very end of season 2: the lions have to begin paying or viewers will get frustrated (just like we readers). There's a bigger cost to frustrating an HBO subscriber than there is a reader. The reader has paid his money already. The subscriber can leave. Scoff at that notion if you like but ask yourself this: why do you think they're compressing the books' storylines for the TV show in the first place? The trial (for the choking) and the other big death by crossbow will most definitely be in season 3.

Those are my guesses.

That's exactly how the firing rate of every automatic gun is stated. See Metal Storm for example (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8hlj4EbdsE). The video finishes of with a 1 000 000 rounds per minute demonstration, even though it only shoots 180 rounds.

The show started off on the right foot. Shooting a zombie girl in the head with a Colt Python, that's a clear statement that everything was going to be fair game in this show. Too bad it got slower by the minute.

Anyway, is it possible that some kills are missing?
I can see Daryl shooting a girl in the head with his crossbow, in the shop in Atlanta, while they were getting the bag of guns - but I don't know if that's memory or imagination (partly wishful thinking) talking.

I wonder if they're legal again if you tape the knife-handle to a crossbow.
