Most of us have came to this conclusion when we realized I couldn't spot the other planets when we looked up in the sky at night. Only a troglodyte would assume that the popular solar system depictions are up to scale. The one thing that stuck with me as a child is when I was told that there are billions of suns in our sky. We just call them stars. That blew my mind.

4k should be called 4x (4 times) or better - 2160p to be in line with every previous standard of video resolution. Why does everyone call it 4k? Are we rounding the width measurement up now (3840)? When do we ever round pixels? When did we switch from vert to horizontal pixels? I guess i have to start calling 1080 2k since its about twice as many mega pixels as 720.

When I got to work this morning at the Food Coop, the Wellness Manager wanted me to go into her office and watch a really cool video made in Germany.

I just naturally assumed that if you'd do this you'd be smart enough to block off the road at the end-point. How in the hell did he expect to ever survive a head on collision, some of those turns were indeed blind, or so fast that they might as well have been (and it wouldn't have mattered, since the speed he was going wouldn't have allowed him to stop in half of those moments--half the time he'd end up flying into a large drop-off/ravine).

Cool video, but people like this do need to get cited, badly. Learn how to take a little more responsibility into their life. I'm sure they have no idea yet how screwed they can make their life, but no need to involve others (the bus doesn't really count ).
