The EPA just today announced plans to set actual enforceable limits for drinking water contamination by the two most common variants, hopefully well below the 70/1000000 unenforceable recomendation they previously issued, before the 2023 deadline, and to study the health effects of other variants and regulate them.
They also announced plans to force polluters to clean up the places where they dumped, which seems to be impossible considering the size and mobility of these molecules, and the fact that they've already migrated everywhere so can't possibly be fully removed.

What's the second wrong? Using POWs this way was common practice then....no Geneva convention yet banning it. Most POWs were treated exponentially worse, starved and tortured to death or used as slave labor and worked to death on dangerous projects. By comparison, these Hitler youths were coddled.

Being forced to clean up a small mine field before release is hardly on par with that....there are still allegedly POWs alive in Vietnam and elsewhere....They would jump at the chance to clear mines and be released.

And what's the alternative? Leave the mines to kill civilians? Have the victims of invasion do the dirty work of cleaning up the mess the invading Nazis left? I have no problem with anyone cleaning up around here. I just think consideration for members recent comments should be respected by limiting the amount of dead video comments so as not to bury recent comments 15 pages back. Just seems disrespectful to other sifters. I think we could come up with a limit on how many dead videos can be deleted at one time per member. I just think smaller numbers over a longer period of time could be just as effective and less intrusive.

Again, this has nothing to do with the rules in my eyes and everything to do with consideration.

The only pitfalls are that :

I admit that women [as a group] under 35 out earn men under 35 because of preferential admittance (such as to higher education) and preferential hiring (such as to managerial positions).

I did not say that women earn more in the same position for the same hours worked. Young men are simply getting shut out of opportunities, so their incomes are lower. As by design.

It does however highlight how affirmative action is being poorly controlled.
The target statistic is based on overall population at all ages.
The adjustment is skewed to younger ages (school admission is typically for younger people).
So the system is trying to balance out incomes of older men by trimming up incomes of younger women, with no accounting for the effects on younger men or consequences of older men retiring.
The situation is doomed to overshoot with time.

I pay people to do my shopping and prepare my food and serve it to me, then clean up after me. I definitely do not belong in the supermarket or the kitchen unless the help has a knife in their back.

it's worth noting that there's a big difference between doing this as a one off and doing it in a production. the fact they had to do reshoots shows how difficult this type of gag is. even with reshoots and using deepfake (which would require a lot of clean up in a real production) it still looks worse.

I pay people to grow, slaughter, transport, inspect, prepare and serve me food then wash and clean up after me.
