Graham Chapmans funeral (slightly NSFW)

cheesemoo says...

Good point, Grimm. Since they have the month, year, and "Graham Chapman's Memorial Service" subtitled in on the video, I'd guess this was aired some time after the actual funeral. Unless BBC broadcasts usually have that sort of stuff?

Not sure what sort of show would include something like this. Maybe this was appended to some Python movie/sketch which was aired sometime later "in memory of Graham Chapman"?

What's this from (name of the show)?

Not from a show, this is a real funeral from one of the cast members of Monty Python's Flying Circus.

Yes...I understand that...but most funerals don't have credits at the end and the BBC logo. This was obviously from a broadcast on the BBC and this was just the ending of it.

Thanks for promote. I don't have those 2 brains necessary for a Chapman stick, or a piano. I consider myself a decent guitarist, but I recently took piano lessons (along with my kids), for a year and I totally sucked and gave it up.

Ahh, gold indeed. And wow, that's them in a raw form there isn't it... Chapman did have an issue with the old booze, and yeah, it looks that way here.

Nice little cameo by Bill Oddie too.
