UFO Files: Black Box UFO Secrets Revealed
My biggest problem with UFOs and UFOologists is the jump they make from small, featureless balls of light that are unidentifiable, and space-ships/aliens.
Face it, every single GOOD picture of a UFO, alien, or similar thing is likely a hoax or a camera trick (intentional or unintentional).
Ultimately though, there is nothing you can say to a "believer" be then religious or tin-hat wearing to make them stop believing. For the last decade the perpetrators of crop circles have tried to take credit for their amazing skills and yet, douchebags like that Mexican media fuck who is constantly on the UFO circuit insist on claiming that even the most tongue-in-cheek examples are legitimate evidence of visitors from another planet. Yes I'm talking about this fat fuckhead:

"Athletes" play laptop catch... with their asses.
>> ^osama1234:
a) i think this whole idea is getting overplayed (the throwing of things, and then landing somewhere based on camera trick)
b) the CGI wasn't even done that well.
I have to imagine this video is, in fact, a parody of all those videos.
... I hope.

Zero Punctuation: Skate 2
After playing Skate2 for the last three weeks, I'm selling the game.

I've been a hardcore THPS addict since the 1st release, and I was very excited for the release of this game. Don't get me wrong, the graphics, physics, moves, camera, tricks, parks etc are all stellar. But the controls for me are just way off the mark. It's far too "real", as opposed to THPS in how to approach grinds/ramps/etc.
Some things are much easier in Skate2, but a lot are way far more difficult, to annoyingly impossible.
Train storage tank implodes.
Bah, it's a camera trick, the Jolly Green Giant just picked it up, smashed it on his forehead, and put it back down.
Amazing what 1 atmosphere (14.7 psia) of pressure will do though...
Best Car Chase on Film. (Cinema Talk Post)
I will always pick Bullitt as certain scenes, such as when you see Bullit come over the hill behind the Dodge, are filmed as you see it. The shot was of the actual rearview mirror, in the actual car, with the actual driver in the shot, and the Mustang perfectly framed. No cut and paste, no camera tricks. It's the pure truth of it. Steve McQueen drives the Mustang except for the most risky of the stunts, while Hickman is driving the Charger. It's the closest to true I've seen.
I discount the Gone in 60 Seconds original movie as you've never heard of the guy and actually driving like that out in general public is just stupid.

Total camera trick.
The Shining "Here's Johnny Scene"
The way the camera follows the swing of the axe is one of my favorite Kubrick camera tricks.
Makes it a hundred times scarier.

That was awesome. That smarmy beauracrat is going to be in the deep mierda.
Kind of sneaky to pull the old, "we're going to turn off the camera" trick. That just killed a career probably.
