Shiba Inus Eat Lettuce - With Gusto

Fatty Liver Strikes Me (Health Talk Post)

blankfist says...

Treating a fatty liver is important! First, if your doctor prescribes a medicine, most of the time it's harmful to your liver. Be a self advocate and discuss with him if the treatment is really important. Maybe taking steroids to stave off an annoying cough isn't as important as you'd like it to be.

Second, if you're a drinker, not only drink lots of water but also make sure you're taking in buttloads of potassium. If you're taking potassium supplements, please note they're probably potassium gluconate, and although the bottle says 550mg, it's really only 90mg of potassium (or 3% of your daily allowance). Don't be afraid to take more than one or two, and honestly coconut water and bananas have a high count of potassium so stock the fuck up.

Last, eat healthier. Broccoli, cabbage (or brussel sprouts) and garlic are great for fatty livers. Cut out sugar from your diet if possible. Instead of a soda, order unsweetened tea (black tea is just about as healthy as green tea!).

4-year-old's Paintings Sell for Thousands

Peckinpaw says...

Once the novelty fizzles-out? A savvy collector may disagree, or many in a long line of self-proclaimed "experts" may determine this or that of her finger-painted play-time happy fun-time afterbirth interpretations but the long and short of her output to-date looks like Jackson Pollack stepped in front of a subway. Must agree with the gentleman that reminds that a 4-yr-old is simply having fun and going along for the happy-ride. Great way to introduce one's child to the so-called, "Art World" though.

Oh and, 6000 dollars for that cannon-blast of primary colors seems a bit much there sir-You could have taken some art appreciation classes with all that cabbage!!

>> ^MaxWilder:

Come on, the value of those paintings will sky-rocket after she dies. I'm sure the investors have that in mind.

Store Riots for Crap No One Really Needs

skinnydaddy1 says...

You know. I'm rather happy to see this. Honestly, what would you rather see? Riots and fights for crap we really don't need or Riots and fights for things we really need? (I.E. Food, Water)
Anyone remember the pictures of the stores in the Soviet Union before it all fell apart? empty shelves. People standing in line for hours for bread or meat and even just toilet paper. There is one interview I will always remember. Some lady on a street in Moscow said if your walk along and you see a line of people you get in it. It did not matter if you knew what the line was for or not. If people where in line then it was something you needed.
So our economy is not that good right now. So? It could be so much worse. and really if you went and talked to some of the people in this video about what happened you would hear how they can't believe they did that or how could this of happened but it started a few mins earler with the crowd pressing and people yelling and then boom everything happened so fast.
Individually people can be smart, thoughtful and caring. Groups on the other hand will have the collective IQ drop to the dumbest idiot there and may with time even drop below that.
heh And I do not think there will ever be something that would top the Cabbage Patch Kids riots of 83.

Capitalist Holiday Brings Out Best In Humanity

Yea of course Christmas was fun and relaxing when you were a kid...you were a KID! Everything is fun and relaxing. While you were kicking your feet up and playing tee-ball, your parents were busting their asses to get you whatever the tickle-me-elmo of that time was.

HAHA good point, but I was talking more about my parent's experiences. My mom never waited outside a store all night to get nearly trampled to death for any Christmas present. She maybe had to drive a few miles out of the way to pick up a Cabbage Patch Doll for my little sister, and even that was a bit silly back then.

I blame the 80s.

Wendy's "Hot Drinks" training video: too much 90s to handle

Drax says...

Now this is the story all about how
To flip a burger upside down
So I'll take a minute, just sit right there
I'll tell you how to make a Wendy's Double, don't be scared

In the mid-west cattle are born and raised,
On a ranch where they spend most of their days
Chilling out, maxing, relaxing staying cool
And all standing around, letting out a moo
When a couple of cowboys, who call each other 'dude'
Started wrangling up cattle to sell as food
They sent them to the slaughter to be prepared
And said, "You're going out to our franchises by truck and air!"

Now we've got our patties, come over here
The package says "Fresh" and you can dice the onions there
If anything Id say our patties are square
But one bite and you'll say, 'Nah these are better then theirs!'

Use even number of buns, not seven but eight!
And throw on some cabbage, and cheese (don't grate)
Look at the burger, put it on a plate
And serve it up at minimum wage
