Alien:Covenant / The Crossing

transmorpher jokingly says...

Does it explain why there was a little fish in that guys eye from the black goo?

Or why it mattered that Weyland was Charliez Therons father?

ChaosEngine, I recommend checking out the fanedit called "Prometheus: Giftbearer". It incorporates deleted and alternate scenes into the film. It brings much better clarity to the story. The original version was ambiguous to a fault.

I still need to see the movie, but waiting for home release. Speaking of home release, the movie will have about 30 minutes more that wasn't shown in the theater.

Despite all that's hideously wrong with it, I'd highly recommend going to the theatre to see it to fully appreciate how visually stunning this movie is

I still have yet seen The Avengers movie which I want to see more, but others and I are too BUSY these days.

Oh, go see Avengers! Do it! Do it now!

Can't. Want to do my work or come with me whenever I am free?

Fecal Explosion

Porksandwich says...

Sewage is nasty......was working at a school to fix a big sink hole they had and we hit a sewage line from the gym that wasn't on the prints they gave us (they were either old or so massively scaled out the little line didn't show up versus the huge storm drains). It was supposed to be an unused line with an empty school for the summer, and then came the marching band "competition". Few hundred people using showers and toilets when we left it over the weekend to be fixed once we found what was causing the sink hole.....all draining into that pit.

But by far the worst smell I've ever encountered was when a freezer in the basement of my parents house went bad....it was rarely used. So the stuff in it spoiled and basically became this black goo and we had to carry that thing out loaded trying to keep it from tipping too much and spilling on us or having the lid pop up even a little as we shifted it....so the smell was held in.

Can't imagine the utter freak out of myself if either of those substances got on me in an unprepared state (covered face, water proof boots/clothing) or unexpectedly.

The Amazing Spider-Man - Trailer

Really? Oh dear... The first two Spiderman films were pretty damned decent, it was only the third one with that black goo stuff that spoiled the trilogy. Toby Maguire was perfectly cast for the role, he was almost exactly what I anticipated from the comics.
Next up: Lord of the Rings - Back to Middle Earth.

That "black goo stuff" gave us Carnage. Don't diss on the BGS just because you only got to meet Venom.

Just sayin'.

Tobey McSuck was awful for this. If you look in the comics, he has no resemblance to spiderman at all.>> ^Reefie:
