and at the bottom of most/many pages there is a beta optout button.

After investigating this further, it looks like they turned this on in the latest release because they were worried malicious code could be hidden in the embeds people try to post. The likelihood of this is extremely slim if you are just embedding stuff to sites like this from sites like youtube, etc. So I just used the command line to turn off the auditor for now.

@dag, the same thing is enabled in the beta I believe. Since you are on a mac, I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't include the change since macs shouldn't be affected by malicious code in this fashion.

After reading up - it appears like it could be a defect in the current branch of the Chrome release.

The still forming beta unit terrified me so much I couldn't watch the rest of the movie. It wasn't until years later I got to see the movie in full.

I change my vote from Fake Camp to Real Camp.

I guess it's not that unsafe (proximity to workstations) since it's tethered to the ceiling. They would have to make a serious "back cage" before they un-tether this model - if it fell down it would destroy all those control boards on its back. Also would have to beef up safety in the drivers cockpit (not that I'd ever sign up to be a beta mech driver)

I too remember the good old days when my dad got a Betamax (yes! we had beta before VHS) and we would try to find a couple of movies in that format at the video store closest to our house. I still remember him looing for Blade Runner back then.

I also remember many years later, but several years ago, going into a video store and renting movies by the 4 or 5 each time, to take home and watch.

Good old days.

The saddest part of that movie? That a business owner at that age had to go work at customer service at a grocery store.

Yeah, looks okay. I gave them the $40 or whatever they wanted three of four years ago. It is starting to look like that investment may pay off in another year or two. In the meantime, I have no interest in alphas or betas or whatever. Wake me when it's done.

I enjoyed the open beta and I'm looking forward to release, but ohmygod if they could please inject just a little humour into these characters instead of these angsty seriousface dullard cliches... They aint all like that, but characters called "Reaper" that mumble things like "Death Comes" are totally inexcusable unless you are 12yrs old.
