I have traffic warrants out of a couple of precincts where I am, have for years-I have been pulled over several times and have only been told to "take care of those as soon as possible."

It helps to live in a city whose county jail is constantly overcrowded-Oh, and the last time I spent the night in jail, I had about $3000 in fines from old tickets that miraculously melted away after 24 hours. I will NEVER pay a local municipality again for a traffic ticket.

On another cheery note, I would like to thank the cornucopia of neighbor's to the south representing a few countries who come here illegally and clog the county court system ensuring no room for non-violent offenders like myself. The broken system works for me, works real well.

If you didn't want to read that babble, quick and simple: they're one and the same. From my understanding, both countries use the Type 1 list: a crime against a person in which injury or death may occur. In some cases, just because no one was hurt, doesn't mean it wasn't a violent crime.

Which brings up the other point to be made. Is the reporting of the crimes uniform? Do the Brits report EVERYTHING, as opposed to what's somewhat routine here in the states where crimes often go unreported, even when the police show up? Domestic violence only exists if one person files charges. The victim could be bruised, bleeding, broken bones etc, but if they're not willing to file a charge, no crime occurred.

Or, more so, do street brawls get reported more often in the UK? If I punch some dude, does that go onto a record somewhere where as in the states, I've been in many fights where even if the police broke it up, no reports were ever filed.

All of this is useful information, but so far the data is pretty superficial. The comment the video makes about "put on your boots and go find out" (paraphrased) is pretty much the only solution I can think of. Then again, it's the same solution that people have been chanting for for generations and have yet to see the high and mighty Elite do it.

It's called an amendment because things change. And our Supreme Court may be the highest law in the land, but that doesn't mean they are infallible.

From what I read on this (very little, admittedly) they believed the 2nd Amendment describes an individual right, and not a right to arm as a part of a militia only, because the English Bill of Rights already recognized the right to bear arms as an individual right. What I don't get is why the smartest people in the country at that time, the Founders, would even mention state militias if they meant that portion of the Amendment to be completely ignored as if it were just errant babble. What I am suggesting is that both Creationists and secular scientists have an imperfect understanding of the problem, but Creationists do have a plausible explanation with evidence to back it up.

Whether the universe is six thousand or 13.72 billion years old is not in scientific dispute, ok? we might have to finetune it give or take a few million years, but there is no doubt about the general size of the number. The correlating data you are looking at is a hall of mirrors. Radiometric data is based on uniformitarian assumptions. The light travel time is based on similar assumptions. Embedded in all of the estimations of an old age are unprovable assumptions that have no empirical evidence to prove they are true. They are in fact unknowable.

It's really not important to me to prove to you how old the Earth is. It's your worldview that the Earth is very old and it's intrinsic to how you view reality, and to try to excise that from your mind would be like trying to separate conjoined twins.
