SWAT A-Holes Murder Pets In Front Of Kids

captmorgano says...

Why is it ok for the SWAT to bust through your door and shoot your crated dog? Because if I were to shoot a K9 unit, its an automatic felony. So theoretically if homeowner's dog was specially trained K9, the cops could be libel. And additionally, there would have to be a "full police funeral".

From Wikipedia:
In many jurisdictions the intentional injuring or killing of a police dog is a felony,[1] subjecting the perpetrator to harsher penalties than those in the statutes embodied in local animal cruelty laws,[2] just as an assault on a human police officer is often a more serious offense than the same assault on a non-officer. A growing number of law-enforcement organizations outfit dogs with ballistic vests,[3][4] and some even go so far as to make the dogs sworn officers, with their own police badges and IDs.[1][5][6][7] Furthermore, a police dog killed in the line of duty is often given a full police funeral.[7][8][9]

Twilight Zone Movie Accident

Dog Vs Cop Car

michael84hill says...

Lol if this happened to Me the Cops would have charged Me with animal cruelty. The end is funny as hell though. The same dog tries for the tire. I wonder if the Owner trained them to go for cars with lights on top

You wouldn't expect a dog fight to be this funny

Westy, I'm against animal cruelty where I see it. Yes there are despicably animal meat packing plants, but there's been a shift in treating animals more humanely over here. Maybe it's a small smart, I dunno. Whatever it is it's a good start. And I bet there's at least one vegetarian amongst the video sift crew. I have several who are friends.
I see an organized dog fighting competition and I have an ill reaction to it.
You don't, least in this case.
I'm not going to stand on some moral high ground and chastise you for your lack of empathy or anyone else, because yes there's a humorous side to this video. That doesn't mean I have to agree with it, and that doesn't mean I think any less of anyone who laughed at the dogs going at it in 'I'm a r'over nor't a fighr'ter' sort of dog way.
You're the one being an asshat here right now though. If I don't think the same exact way you do about something controversial, I'm fail. Apparently also I'm a pussy.
Better then being an asshole. ,,i,,

I dont see how i am the ass hat im not the one saying the video should be banned ,

All i have pionted to is some people are retarded for getting all emotoinal and some how coming to a conclusoin that the video is an endorsemnt of dog fighting.

Massage Kitty Takes Job Seriously

cybrbeast says...

>> ^burdturgler:
This is why I de-claw my cats.
It's also why I smother my dick in catnip.

De-clawing cats is animal cruelty to me.

Why do it anyway, my cat has claws and when he massages me it doesn't hurt. Just make sure they can scratch their nails somewhere.

Chinese Bus Rampage!

I'd say this is pretty terrible, and snuff. But on the other hand, people voted some pretty terrible animal cruelty (the omglol hilarious Indian movie 'stunts'), so what do I know.

The Best Fight Scene EVAR!

spoco2 says...

Sorry, but fricken DOWNVOTE this shit.

a) As rychan said it's horrendously edited and directed, it is like a very bad student film
b) There is no logic
c) They fricken harmed/killed those horses.

F*ck them, F*ck this video.

I'm all for stupid action scenes, but GOOD stupid scenes at least have some internal logic, this is just filled with 'hmm, let's make a car leap into the air for no reason'.

And I am NOT for ones with intentional animal cruelty in them, get stuffed.

Cuddly Frog

robbersdog49 says...

The toad isn't trying to escape because it's just not fast enough. A frog would try to hop away, it can move fast. Evolution has taught the toads that their best chance for survival is to react as you're seeing here. It's not running away because it can't run away, not fast enough to be effective. It's got poison glands all over it's back and it's trying to use them. Just because you don't understand the behavior it doesn't mean you can arbitrarily assign your own meaning to it and that becomes the truth. Sorry.

Besides this, what have all the rest of your straw men got to do with anything? I mean seriously?
>> ^FlowersInHisHair:
>> ^robbersdog49:
The toad's main defense is the poison in it's skin on it's back and the top of it's head. It's trying to defend itself by keeping the poisoned areas where the attention is. It's terrified and is acting defensively.

And yet the toad is making no attempt to escape.
Why is it that when someone posts a video like this, there's always someone who has to sniffily try and make out some kind of animal cruelty is going on, or something awful has happened to the animal in the past?
"Actually kittens are terrified when they play with string."
"Dogs only chase flashlight beams if they've been abused as puppies."
"Hamsters run in wheels as a display of what's known as cage-stress."
"Otters only float on their backs holding hands if their sexual development was interrupted at the pre-Oedipal stage."
I mean, ffs.

Speed Cooking- serving live snake and fish

syncron says...

Fried/blanched fish with a live head is actually a pretty common dish. I'm not sure about the raw snake though... That's just nasty, I don't think it's edible. Animal cruelty aside, you can't get food fresher than stuff being cooked alive.

Baby Chicks dumped alive into a grinder (and other horrors)

Baby Chicks dumped alive into a grinder (and other horrors)

blackest_eyes says...

To everyone defending the chick-grinders: are you really sure you're not just trying to protect your peace of mind? The fact is, you like meat. You want to continue to eat meat - a lot of it probably - and you don't want to pay too much for it. Human minds are great at producing justifications for their desires. We're very good at deceiving ourselves into thinking we came to a conclusion through logic and reason, when really, we are motivated by the need to justify. So you should always be suspicious of a justification that conveniently happens to justify behavior that otherwise might be considered immoral. In your mind, try to separate the chick-grinding from the meat-eating you want to justify. Watch the video again, and instead of thinking of chicken nuggets dipped in honey mustard, think of a brand new form of life being brought into this world, only to snuffed out before even getting a chance. It doesn't matter if chicks can't feel or experience life like an adult human can - neither can human babies. Yet I'm sure you'd object to throwing them in grinders. This isn't about animal cruelty so much as a fundamental respect for conscious beings.
