High Wind Makes Plane Accidently Takeoff
I don't. Gliders cannot take off from the ground without a tether, and can only stay airborne by riding up thermals or other updrafts. This is a form of propulsion. Without updrafts and untethered, a glider will eventually fall to the ground.>> ^sirex:
>> ^messenger:
What we both didn't see in our heads is that once the plane leaves the ground, if the propulsion system isn't engaged, the plane will be pushed backwards, lose speed, and crash again.
I foresee a one word critical flaw in your argument.
Glider.
USS Independence LCS-2
The whole littoral ship program has been one huge mess. Budget overruns, poor planing, etc. The military industrial complex at work. At least it's not as bad as the airborne laser or F/A-22 Raptor projects...

But it is standing in the last second of the video, isn't it?
You can see that it rolls of his back and the head spins the right way, so it seems it is not fatally wounded.
Exactly, I can't see any blood either... just a little airborne, it's still good.

Mythbusters create the seat ejector
unless you really get airborne.

Perhaps if there was a parachute rigged to the chair..
Wouldn't reach the velocity it would need to open and slow you down...you're basically broken whether you get ejected or tuck and roll.
The Sean Bean Death Reel
Also, it's important to check out the Youtube comments and the video uploader's description. If you did that, you'd know his non-dying performances outweigh his dying performances. Someone did all that work and now you don't need to: http://www.compleatseanbean.com/deathbycow.html
HE DIES IN:
Airborne - bye bye Toombs
Caravaggio - Rannuccio gets his throat slashed
Clarissa - Lovelace is skewered by Sean Pertwee
Don't Say a Word - Patrick Koster is buried alive
Equilibrium - Death by Poetry - Partridge is blasted away by Christian Bale while reading Yeats
Essex Boys - Jason Locke meets a nasty end in a Range Rover
Far North - Loki is frozen. Naked. In the snow. A chilling end if there ever was one.
The Field - the infamous Death by Cow - Tadgh falls over a cliff, pursued by a herd of stampeding cows
GoldenEye - Alec Trevelyan falls a long way down and is crushed by a satellite dish thing
Henry VIII - Robert Aske meets a gruesome end
The Island - Death by Clone. Merrick is shot in the throat by a nasty grabber thingy with a sharp
hook and a cable that gets wrapped around his neck, and while he's struggling with Lincoln
Six-Echo, the catwalk they're on collapses, and Merrick ends up dangling by the neck. Currently
the most creative dispatch of Sean's career. Definitely well hung.
The Lord of the Rings (The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, The Return of the King) - Death
by Orc. Boromir. Arrows. Need I say more?
Lorna Doone - Carver Doone drowns
Outlaw - Dead Dead Dead. Was there ever any question? Dead.
Patriot Games - Sean Miller is beaten up, boathooked and finally blown up by Harrison Ford
Scarlett - Lord Fenton is dispatched
Tell Me That You Love Me - Gabriel Lewis is stabbed by Laura. Or he stabs himself. We're not
quite sure about this one, actually.
The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion - Death by summoning a god's avatar. Martin Septim (the son of the Emperor, aka The Lost Heir) meets his X-Box end when he attempts to save the world.
The Hitcher - Surely you jest. You need to ask? (There were two different versions filmed. He dies
in both of them.)
War Requiem - The German Soldier dies, but returns in the afterlife

AWACS Crash as Seen From Tanker Vantage Point - NSFL
The IRIAF Il-76MD "Simorgh" jet was destroyed in an accident near Tehran, killing all seven crew members. The "Simogorh" is an Il-76 jet modified with a radar dome on top of the fuselage for airborne early warning and control (AEW&C). It has been reported that the crew reported an engine fire. While maneuvering for an emergency landing at Tehran-Mehrabad Airport (THR) runway 29L the radar dome detached, striking the tail fin. Control was lost and the airplane crashed.

Helicopter films tractor-trailer being DESTROYED by tornado
All that mass has to come from somewhere. That's typically the way it works, anyways.

I find it hard to believe that helicopter can generate enough lift to stay airborne with such massive balls on board.
I believe the buoyancy created by the pure vacuum between their ears provides enough lift to counter the increased weight.

This plane lands in 17 feet, takes off in 10
Well considering the plane could take off in zero feet with gusts.. It appears they have a 80 mph headwind which means relative to the ground the plane is already going fast enough to stay airborne.
