Malasian airline shot down in Ukraine today
Both sides have conclusive proof that it was the other side, so... Aliens?
Jokes aside, if it really was a Gadfly, there has to have been radar activity specific to that type of SAM. Given the ongoing military activity in that zone, someone must have recorded it, be it a ground station or an airborne surveillance platform. Everone's going to try to spin the flow of information to their use, so we might not get to see it for a few decades, but still...
The Ingenious Way South Korea Unclogs Toilets
Yes, it is way better.
1). First, that toilet isn't going to spill over. Ever had that happen? And with a heat register near by? Disgusting.
2). Two, do you realize how much Feces is splashed around the bathroom when you plunge? Not just on your floor, but walls, and on you, your clothes and possibly your face. It's not just the big drops, but the little ones, the ones that practically become airborne.
3). Three, Clean up afterwards, once you're done with a plunger, you need to clean it off, and if there is stuff sticking to it, as you can guess, that's not fun either. Not to mention, where are you going to clean it? in the bathtub? After you sanitize the plunger, now you have to sanitize the tub, or sink, or what ever as well.
-You're going to need to wipe down that toilet whether you plunge or use this sheet.
-This plastic sheet, looks strong enough that it's not going to break.
-And disposing it. Well, lifting it into a garbage bag, that just seems way easier.

Sébastien Loeb's Record Setting Pikes Peak Run 2013
Vatanen also had some ball-raising to-the-edge corners exactly where Loeb had nice, sturdy crash rails. Not that either hit, but Loeb certainly didn't have the psychological pressure of probably getting airborne of a cliff.
I'll give the guy all the credit for a suberb run (and balls of steel) but it's just not the same thing as driving it on gravel in a group B car.
Even if you ignore the sun in the eyes, stick gear changes and the way Vatanen had to use the clutch in the corners because the engine just had too much power, the sheer difficulty of traversing a low friction surface like gravel puts his time in a league of it's own.
Watch the two videos and you see the complete technical difference, Loeb goes in to low gear through the corners, doesn't drift at all (even drops in to first at points), and uses the cars acceleration combined with tarmac traction to get back up to speed. He even hits 6th gear quite a few times in the run. His control of the wheel is very smooth and measured.
Now watch Vatanen. Most of the corners, he's probably riding 2nd or 3rd and instead of breaking, is using the crazy horsepower of the engine to keep him going round the corner. He doesn't reach the same sort of top speeds of course because he's constantly fighting the loss of traction even in a straight line. His wheel control is excellent, but you can observe how he is constantly fighting to maintain his place on the road.
I suspect Loeb probably could better Vatanen's time with the same car and similar conditions, but we'll never know.
NSA Has Found Ways To Beat The Encryption...
I recall in the mid 90's when Carnivore became public knowledge, they could already decrypt the best public encryption available, but it was cost prohibitive and took lots of computing power (well, lot's for the time, probably less than a cell phone has today). With the computing power they have today, they could decrypt every email in real time and never break a sweat.
I'm more sad that this is news than I am that it's happening, because it tells me that 'they' can get away with anything for as long as 'they' want as long as 'they' don't constantly remind the sheeple what they're doing. Apparently if it's not in the news that week, it just isn't happening to most people.
It's called memory retention people. Try it!
This is why I've been sending encrypted pie recipes for years with the heading 'infected monkeys ready for release'. They can't possibly know exactly what variant of apple pie triggers the real release of my airborne monkey aidsbolapox, so their decryption is useless against those who (think we) understand what's happening.
The Honest Coca-Cola Obesity Commercial
Yeah, this video can suck a dick.
"Never drink coke, it's unhealthy."
Oh, and:
Never eat any other sugary foods...or high fat foods
Never drink alcohol
Never go outside without sunblock
Never watch tv or play video games
Never stay up too late
Never drink from plastic containers, or aluminum
Never drive when you can bicycle
Never bicycle when you can walk
Never live where airborne polutants are too concentrated
ONLY do things that promote a healthy body and lifestyle.
The message should be about healthy balance, not demonizing certain choices.
That's not a motocross bike mate....
He was already airborne in the previous corner.. Amazed that it didn't hiside him there. Good flying skills.

Precisely.

Air to air???
Yeah, a missile meant to shoot from one airborne object to another. So one aeroplane to another. OR, as in this case, fired from in air and detonated in air.
As compared to air to ground or ground to air weapons.
You mean, like, there were flying cities they had to shoot down?

Not quite sure how that works.
